I would like to up date this about cvs transport. I work here now and if I would have known about this place or the owner I would have never applied for job here. he tells you a lot of stuff and makes a lot of promises to you and then doesn't keep his promises. He told me that if we were at a stop longer than 3 hours he would pay the driver detention time. So needless to say I have not received any of my detention time from this man and when I questioned him about it he told me if he didn't get anything for the truck a sitting than the driver didn't get nothing. Now I know hes not gonna go some where and sit and not charge a detention charge for the truck because he would be loosing money. And you are right we don't buy fuel on the road we go to the fuel stop and he either pumps it or we pump it and he comes later and pays for it, that way he gets all the rewards on his reward card. And getting a day off with this man is terrible he thinks your life should revolve around cvs and that's not the case with me. So as soon as I can Im going to be moving on. I really liked this job when I 1st got it but as for now I don't like it. Some things needs to change and change pretty quick if I stay here. We are also told how to go on our trips and what routes to use and we call him once were leaving the yard and when we reach our destination and once we are empty we get our reload information but we have to call back the next morning to get our pick up numbers and po numbers. and then we have to call once were loaded and once we get to Florence and then we have to call him before we leave the yard to go home. boy that's a lot of phone calls. I could say a lot more but I want right now. I just want a job where I can go to work make my money and go home without worrying all the time. And if anything goes wrong with the truck he expects the driver to drive the truck to the shop and stay with it till its fixed and we don't get any compensation for the time we are gone and could be at home with our family. He is trying to get every body to work on Saturdays to now but he got me from Sunday to Friday and that's it no more. I need a day off to be with my family.
DoWhatWhen Thanks this. -
