Lots and LOTS of turnover at this company.Scheduling is crazy.Too many drivers for what they have to haul.Constantly changing your schedule around to give newbies loads instead of the regular guys doing their jobs,so people get fed up and leave ALL the time. You can make 1000 a week BEFORE taxes occasionally as they tell you at orientation.BUT I think I have only made that maybe three times, usually between 600 and 900 before taxes. If you can survive on that and don't have a life outside of working their nutty schedule then you can probably deal with it.But do not look to make a 1000 a week NOT gonna happen. They Are OK to work for but,....I guess you have stupid stuff at every job, but I don't know how much more I can take here.Good Luck to all.

I don't like hearing that, they have been calling me from the Tampa terminal trying to schedule me in for orientation

I have a friend down in Florida that worked for Dillon out of the Tampa terminal. He lasted about 4 months or so. Exactly as Kawman77 described. They kept him busy for the first month or so and the money was OK. But then they started cutting his loads back and he wasn't getting a full workweek. He was starting not to work on Thurs or Fridays, but then I believe went in Saturday. Some weekdays were not full work days either. The money and consistency wasn't there. He had a family to support, so he had to bail. Very nice equipment from what I heard.

I was supposed to work yesterday a no go ,still do not know about today. They told me to call back later. They do have nice equipment and a lot of the problems are where they pick up from or deliver to,but that does not help the paycheck any.If you can deal with 4 to 6 hundred dollar paychecks you can probably make it but that is just killing me:(

Yep, not working on some days during the week then having to go in on Saturday is a regular thing. You just can't plan ahead for Anything because you have to go make money when it's there to be had.

I think I'll tell then to kick rocks, I've got a family to feed and have to have some kind of stability in pay. Thanks

Now I hear they are installing nanny cameras in some of the trucks to watch our every move,in the name of safety ,of course.BS!If I get a truck with a camera, I will be going somewhere else to work I promise you that!
