    Mr. King

First, I want to apologize for you feeling wronged. We have changed our pay scale and now pay by the mile and we have a safety bonus to cover the log violations. We now dispatch by text message and PeopleNet to eliminate the controversy of who did or did tell anyone about the appointment. I hope you have found success in your current ventures.

    "I would fire Luke's behind"
For causing good serious drivers to walk away and also poor job performance because Luke the dispatcher wasn't involved enough for doing his job
IT'S obvious this driver probably didn't have . much higher priorities(stranded in a snowstorm) than to call Luke and commicate the status of the shipment

That's not too bad. Typical of how most trucking companies respond to complaints.

I think you would have to know the complaint is here before you could consider coming here to respond. I doubt if the England family comes here to see how they are doing.

I began my driving career in 2001. I have worked for several different companies and Dodge City Express is by far the best for me. The first thing that anyone in this industry must admit is that there is no such thing as "the perfect driving job". There are too many variables in trucking to please everyone in every area. All I can speak for is my experience. I make decent money and I am given more freedom than anywhere I have ever worked. I drive great trucks. The people I work with, in every area, have become more than just coworkers to me. I consider everyone, from the owner on down to be my second family. I feel that way because they treat me that way. Granted, I believe I have earned that treatment and respect because I do the job they hired me to do. I am never late, I take care of their equipment, I communicate when there are issues, and I am professional with our customers. I am not one who thinks the company owes me everything with only mediocrity in return from me. There is a mutual expectation from both employer and employee with any job. I thought the grass was greener somewhere else at one point. Aside from everything else, what I missed the most was that family feeling and I quickly came back. Knowing that I can walk into the owner's office, fleet manager's office, safety director's office, or either one of the shops and talk about any issue or just to "#### chat", is very hard to find. I have complete faith that if somebody comes to work here and does the job they were hired to do, they will have the same experience that I have had. I have been around trucking my entire life and I have a deep rooted passion for it. DCX will allow you to be a trucker! This isn't like the big companies who are constantly looking over your shoulder. They trust that you are the professional and that you know what you are doing...unless you give them a reason not to! I know not every experience is the same, but If you are looking for a good company to drive for, I am pretty happy with mine! Hope this helps.
