it actually happens a lot more than you notice, and its called damage control. Recruiters, owners, and office people, can't stand negative comments against their business, even if it's the truth.

also, the things you would think make most drivers miserable, some drivers actually do like. There are people that get on here and genuinely defend companies like Werner and Wiley Sanders . to each their own I guess

 

MP8327 had nothing but positive things to say about ad and he clearly does not work for them anymore.

 

I think I will say something more. I've been in this beautiful industry for than 25 years. I started off driving for CFI. CFI was GREAT. I only worked there for 9 months because I thought I wanted to be home more often, so I took a local job. I drove for AD for 8 years. I loved almost every minute of it. I ran, they ran me. I complained, they listened. I was always treated with respect but I imagine that I'd earned the respect through my performance. Never said no, never been late. See, I fell in love with trucking when I was a wee lad. I'm living my dream. The high demand for drivers is pulling more and more people into trucking that have no business here and the result is . . . often times, resentful and angry drivers but I don't feel that werner or anyone else made them that way. Know what you want and find it, then do a good job.

 

After receiving an angry inbox from a werner hater, I decided to do something. I looked at RedHawkers post string. This is what I found.

4 jobs in 2010 and all of the employers were (HORRIBLE COMPANIES) not to be trusted?
One can only assume that 2011, 2012 and 1013 were similar years.
Everyone else please draw your own conclusions about the veracity of redhawkers' complaints. Where is the real problem?

 

Sounds like someone is trying make a case against the OP in defense of ad transport ....all i can say is : ad transport didn't pay any of us new drivers for a 10 hr day of orientation and for some reason that didn't sit well with me as a new driver starting at a new company ,you know only what they tell you ,how the company operates & such and at the end of your 10 hr day at ad transport ,they inform you they will not pay you ,not to mention according to their policies they have dibbs on your first check also ( $25 a wk deduction ) to build a $500 escrow .....they have nice equipment , i hear their dispatchers are pricks and could deal with that but i could deal with that but not paying me for my services ,like OT after 45 hrs or sitting at a dock doing business on my dime ....no thank you ad transport , that's just me tho ,im not a trucker princess or a butt kisser ,it's just really important to me that a company shows me alittle more integrity ,because i myself intend to be honest ,reasonable ,humble integrity employee ....have nothing against them ,just business

 

I enjoyed most of the time I was at A.D. Transport . I never had any major issues/problems. I just didn't want to run the east coast so much anymore.

 

I just want to confirm to anyone who thinkd otherwise that I'm a driver at AD and defend this company based on my experience here. Yes others can and do have different experiences at any place you go to. If this company wasn't good I'd leave but think if I do leave it only be for a local job so I can be home every day.

 

Might as we'll bump this. Any recent info on AD?
