Hey i actually did an application tonight for them but now i'm thinking about running the other way. I do have my own tractor so i won't be doing a lease purchase from them. Do you know anything about what the O/O make there or are they starving too.

Don't work for this company. I know someone that worked for them and he was expected to falsify documentation, he worked long hours for a paycheck less than 300.00 after telling him he would make 1500.00 - 2000.00 a week. They bought trucks late last year and that is when his paycheck deceased and was working for next to nothing. They take "care" of their company drivers first and offer them the good paying loads so those loads pay for their so called new trucks that break down while you're on the road!! The only benefits to this company is that they will keep you busy but you will be working for FREE. I hope that anyone applying for a job with ELS reads these posts first!! SCAMMERS and very SHADY!!

 

I tried this company as an O/O with my truck, I worked for them for 1.5 weeks and hit the door. They will screw O/O just as hard if not harder than a Lease Op. You are to pay for wear and tear on their trailers as well as pay rent. If a tire goes you have to pay for it not them. Shady all the way. I quit them on 3-17-15 and still waiting on my last check as of 4-15-15

After these guys sign off their piece of crap trucks they charge them things that they feel that needs to be replaced. We are checking into things for a friend right now and we aren't done yet. Just make sure everyone you talk to knows what kind of scammers this company is. You will need government assistance after they get done with you!! The contracts states 400.00 a week payments and they took out 500.00 a week, trailer rental is 190.00 a week to haul their stuff, 50.00 W/C, tolls, Maintenance escrow is 500.00 a week and are only to take out what is used, Driver Escrow is 175.00 weekly also. This isn't including whatever else they try to milk you for. They are about Greed and don't give two craps about their drivers and one day they will fail and I'm going to giggle!!

Yes you are all correct. Bad company to work for. I worked for TransAgri which is the company that they broke away from and formed ELS. They needed owner operators to get started and then they started getting their own trucks and now they have jumped on the Lease purchase ban wagon. They will lie about load rates to get you to take the loads and they will give you the scrap leftovers after they satisfy their company trucks. As a lease owner operator you are still really only working as a company driver without any benefits and they will drain your earnings for the truck expenses that they themselves come up with.
Run away and run away hard and fast !
