Langer Transport o/o pay secret

I here ya brother. I should have ended it before I dug myself into a hole now I have to try and dig myself out but it is hard when you are only being offered runs less than 350 miles. After fuel and with the cold weather I am really hurting. I did not even get a check for the whole month of January and coming into Feburary my checks are a whopping 500 - 700 dollars a week after expenses. Like I said I wanted to post so other O/O will not make the same mistake I have dealing with this company and companies like this. I tried to find out about this company before I signed on with them but could not find any info on here about them. Its like the whole forum was scrubbed or something this is why I decided to start the post. I really wish more drivers would post information about companies like this to help fellow drivers out. We already have more than enough to deal with without having to worry about getting ripped off and taken advantage of.

I think most all chemical companies pay cheap. % is a scam. You the driver never really know what the 100% is, only what they say it is. Good luck. Hope you find something better soon.

U guys are scaring me cuz I want to go with ltc/dana outta louisiana and I'm coming with my own truck. Their website says they pay 62% of the gross

Krajack used to give a copy of the invoice for each load w/ the O/O settlement. Seems the companies w/ the honest owners are the ones no longer around...

Back when 'Rights' meant something; the first carrier I worked for would trip lease on another carrier's rights and was charged 10% of the line haul.

The carrier would then chop 20% off the linehaul when doing the owner operator's pay and pay then 64.3% of that number bragging the whole time we paid a higher percentage than most [62% back then].

DOT put them out of business and he went to jail over maintenance and other matters.

Ok so I wanted to post my experience working at langer transport as an owner operator since there seems to be very little information on this company on this site. First I would like anyone interested in working for this company to know that all load load rates are a big secret and if you ask what a load rate is their policy is to not tell you. In other words any load you pull you will not know what the load pays until you get paid. I ran a load that was 650 miles round trip and the load paid me 65% of 1035.00 my cut was 672.00 (1.03 per mile), another load I did was 1550.00 miles round trip and that load paid 2071.00 65% to me was 1346.00 (0.89 cents a mile). These loads do not include the FSC amount paid because I wanted to only show the very low freight rate amounts that they say they are charging their customers. Now any O/O that drive tankers realize that these rates are very low for tank freight. Also to add insult to their rates it seems that if you have not been there for a very long time that you will be offered only low mileage loads unless one of the more favorite drivers wants a holiday off or something like that. Also if you want to lose even more of your pay, no problem there either, They will take 75.00 for every preloaded trailer that is preloaded for you which is about 90% of the loads you will hook to. Lets do the math on this! If you hook up to 6 preloaded trailers in a one month time period that's 450.00 you lose in revenue. Now lets times that by 12, Wow that 5400.00 a year you lose in revenue just for hooking to a preloaded trailer.

So if any of you guys out there cannot seem to get a straight answer about how this company pays I hope this will help anyone considering signing on with them.

Actually that's good rates for loaded miles should have got a backhaul and your pay would have doubled
