| Yeah I renewed mine. 100.00 dollars and have not used it yet. Was planning on it but oh well. As for JB Hunt they did the bait and switch on me again. I applied back in January as a company Midwest Controlled Regional Driver. Great I go take my physical and had a med problem I needed a release for. I go home and get it call in and told the position closed. I would have to go otr. told them to go to hell and that was a week later I call back and decide to go lease purchase, Talked to a recruiter that told me to buy my own truck. Went to do it and financing fell through. He told me he had openings in LP but I said I wanted to wait. They DAC ed me as review before rehire which has screwed up my process of getting a job. So I thought. I got a job with Martin Transportation Systems RTS here in Grand Rapids Mi. Screw them I am never going back after being screwed twice. What is that old saying? Oh yea screw me once your fault screw me twice my fault. Jason |

| Just from the feedback I've gotten from other drivers, I always had the idea that JB was a crappy company. They used to bug me at least once or twice a week... good companies don't do that. But reading this thread has been an eye-opening experience. For someone who, supposedly, represents his company to present himself in such a pompous and arrogant manner is a true reflection of the mindset of JB Hunt. If I were the brass at JB, I'd fire this moron post-haste. Suffice it to say, I'd work as a cream puff filler at Dunkin Donuts before I'd work for JB Hunt. |

| That's why one should stay anonymous And that is the reason a blogger should NEVER reveal his true identity. Keeping everything anonymous ensures no vindictive types take revenge and ensures the truth, the whole truth, and just about nothing but the truth, is told in a forum where everyone can gain access to that truth.

| Here is another true story about good 'ole JB. This just happened within the last month. My friend, who drives for the same company as me, decided he wanted a different job, as our work had not been steady recently. He drives early morning until afternoon, I drive afternoon until around midnight or later. We share the same truck. We have a company phone that stays in the truck. He had been contacting recruiters using that phone. I started getting calls on this phone from recruiters wanting to speak to him. Several were from JB Hunt. I told him of this site and the experiences of many of the drivers here. He assured me he would not go with JB. He left for what he said was a job with Smith. I later learned that he got another call from JB offering him a dedicated run from NC to Florida and back. Home every weekend, .37 per mile and 2200+ miles per week. He fell for it and went to JB's orientation instead of Smith. On the second day he was introduced to his dispatcher. He began to question his dispatcher about his trips, pay, and miles. It turns out the pay was only.32 per mile, the average miles per week were 1800, and he may or may not be home every weekend. He left right then. I don't know what they have done to his DAC. I assume they considered him an employee as they were paying him $60.00 per day for orientation. He had to take a grunt job at a local fabrication place until he could get back on part-time here where he originally left. Things have picked up some and he is soon going back full time, they say. JB strikes again. |

| They're only living down to their reputation They're living down to their name: JoBHunt. Go to work for them today (or to orientation) and you're hunting for another job tomorrow.
