Lol, no wonder why I cant reach anybody at night dispatch. This is perhaps one of the most annoying things about JB Hunt. After your fleet manager leaves at 5pm you can send all the messages over the obc you want and youll be lucky if you get a reply. The only way to be sure of getting a reply is to use the message for service failure. Ive had to use this message more than once to get directions to where I was going. Now I know why, they spend all their time on the internet

OK, I couldn't take it, had to reply to this...of course you are on other message boards, why? because ALL they are is recruiting sites and a place to get morons into a "job pool" so recruiters can hammer them, they care less about real truckers, we DO...that is the difference between us and them. We are REAL, not some darn supposed "trucking website" that is only out for the $$$. Not us. IF we did it for the $$$, we would shut down the site now as there IS no $$$ in what we are doing...

And once again, we are proven that we get treated like we are mentally retarded school children from some of the companies we work for. I have no problem driving a truck, but being treated like I am a second class citizen is enough to make me go back to school and finish my degree. This job isn't worth the lies and ######### that you have to deal with.

Hell, I'm still a driver, I just don't think I can deal with the OTR crap anymore.

No kidding, I decided that about 1.5 years ago now. They call me ALMOST every day wanting me to drive for them...of course I do not pick up. I can't do it again as it is too much to handle. I know what you mean.

I don't think you should have banned the JB guy. Eventually, he would have stated something really offensive and perhaps actionable.

Forum policy is to ban recruiters as soon as they are discovered. This site is for drivers to relax and not be bothered by recruiters.

if you really wanna see a good laugh, on their web site they say their top dedicated driver made over $90,000. thats amazing since i am an otr driver with jb and since i have been back with them i have set every weekend since i have been back on the road. now i am looking at a local gas company. the pay isnt the best right from the gate but thier benefits and retirement and all the little perks are really nice. their offering me a $1000 bonus every christmas,off ALL
holidays with pay,pay raise every year,2 weeks vacation after 1 year employment, they pay 6% of what i make on my retirement and then i can put in what i like. so mister jb recruiter if you can match that i would stay but i know jb cant because i have been their long enough to know beter. i think it is time for me to move on to a better job that has a smaller "at home feel." plus i get to be home everynight

besides i was a finisher (trainer) at jb the first time i was with them. every rookie i trained quit do to their dispatch wasnt worth a plug nickel. if brain's were dynamite these boys would have enough to blow their nose.you can keep kicking the dog when their down and eventually that dog is gonna run away and take as many
as they can with them. i dont wanna see no business go under but i would like to see jb loose so many drivers they would have to show them respect. but that is just an country boy's opinon which doesnt mean much

YUP, and are you paid when you sit every weekend? Let the others know, please so they don't just think it is me babbling, LOL.

I agree, I shouldn't have said that...but, this company needs, BADLY, a real wake-up call. I pray we have something to do with them getting one is all.
