The funny thing I see is that you have drivers and recruiters both crying their eyes out about lie lie lie when the fact of the matter is all in employment statistics. Yeah I drove for 4 years otr and I got home a couple times a month and they promised me all this and that but you know. Hey what the hell. It didnt happen I was just happy I had a job. I also checked out the other side of the fence and recruited for a year and yeah I was promised this that that and this and it didnt happen but again. Hey what the hell. I am now back into welding and I was told I would work Mon-fri 7-4. Well I work Mon-sat 7-? but what sense would I make by crying about them lying to me. Anywhere you go and anything you do in a twisted way you are lied to unless you get a job that requires you to put bottle caps on a coke bottle and that's all you do. Another perfect example is when I got out of high school and joined the marines the recruiter promised me I would see the world and bang every piece of hot tail that walks by however. comma. Have you ever saw that movie jarhead I was stuck in the desert for a year but again. Hey what the hell I'm not crying over the recruiter lying to me about that, I actually encourage people to join the Core I encourage people to drive,and recruit hey I can guarantee that's alot easier than crawling around in pipes crevices etc getting burned by welding slag and sparks but I like it you know it pays the bills but hey what the hell I'm not ########.

I'd ban you just for the pictures you put up.

Well my friend you should of walked next door to the squid recruiter. Everyone knows the squids get to see the world. All the Marines seem to get is the short end of the stick.

A friend of mine from high school wanted me to go into the Marines with him on the buddy system were they would station you and a friend in the same place. I declined his offer and joined the Navy. He went to Beirut as a infantryman and I went to Australia as a construction diver assigned to a small seabee unit. I came back to the states 5 years later but my friend never came back from Beirut. I miss my friend, but life is all about choice's.

Actually, my Navy recruiter was more truthful to me than ALL of the trucking recruiters that I have dealt with.

I detect a wee bit of hostility.
