If he's actually a terminal manager or something that showed up here to bust people, then I'm sure everyone here knows how I feel about that sort of thing. -
Okay, Mack. Let's see where this leads. This should be good to watch.

Like I said, there's been a major miscommunication between terminals and the HQ in Lowell (where we do the background screening/etc) Either it's guys who didn't file their Verification Release until the last second and then we couldn't verify work experience. (companies like Swift, Schneider require it so we can get your information) or that a manager somewhere rejected it because a guy had a DUI, a Felony that was outside of a number of years, and 3 speeding tickets in the last year (but if that's all the speeding tickets he has in the last 3 years, we accept them).

Well folks, fool me once, shame on you... Fool me twice, shame on me. I graduated from cdl school a year ago. I immediately signed on with Werner Enterprises. I didn't see home for three months and I was soon to be married. JBHunt offered me a southeast regional run with weekends at home. Guess what, I actually got home as promised every weekend without fail. Fast forward to the middle of April 2007. I turn in my truck as requested before my wedding and subsequent honeymoon. My fleet manager also knew that I was going to have jaw surgery and I would be out of work for a couple of months. She told me that would not be a problem and that my job would be waiting for me. I returned to work this past Monday only to find out that I would have to repeat orientation complete with Smith System training and road test. Two days into orientation I get a huge surprise. JBHunt has a new rule... you can't run southeast regional until you have one year otr experience. Instead of letting me return to my original position, they insist that I go otr until I have one year experience and then I can switch back. I am furious. I phoned my fleet manager and recruiter and they both were "shocked" that I would not be allowed to go back to the job that I had done so well. Anyways, I sitting at home now if anyone wants to suggest another trucking company with weekend hometime.

I know the feeling i quit one after about 3 years decided i would go bac called them up and they wanted references.lol so i changed my mind
I hope your jaw surgery is paid for.
You might try millis transfer they have southeast out of cartersville ga theres' some more companys in alabama
good luck to you try to find a smaller carrier this time around. -
Try KBTransportation. But around Birmingham, you shouldn't have many problems.
-
With that right there, I'd challenge the Director. You were, as of when you left, still an employee right? And they never sent you a pink slip?
Call ************* in Lowell. There is no ####### reason for them to let that happen to you...
