CF shut down literally overnight too, remember? I heard stories of local drivers showing up to terminals and finding them padlocked.

But the CF drivers at least made it home. Don't really think their story was a particularly happy one, either, but surely not as shameful as the sorry saga of Doug Pielsticker.

I remember when CF shut down.

A friend of mine was service manager at one of the terminals. He was informed by phone message during the wee hours of the morning, "Do not show up for work, do not call, if you have tools at our facility you are not allowed to pick them up until we call you."

Giltners most common load deilvers at sysco, where you drop the trailer with the paperwork. So the only thing you'd be able to copy would be an unsigned BOL, which isnt proof of delivery. My TCH card worked some of the time, but not always. They have you wait at the pumps so long that you'll have them cut you a tch CHECK, which is deducted out of your pay instantly, unlike TCH Cards. When you quit, they try to deduct the old TCH fuel check amounts and with hold your last payment. Complain? Sure, but now you quit, so they have absolutely no use for you and they will put those fuel charges that were more than your final check that they kept on your DAC. Not many company drivers keep fuel receipts that aren't there responsibility anyway for years. Now your DAC shows you owe your last trucking company money when you quit. Lots a luck getting another driving job.

And you've been a member since "May 2014" and you have already made 196 posts! I listen to drivers who; 1) Have actually driven for the company they complain about, like me, and 2) Actually drive a truck for a living, not post hundreds of posts per month.

Thats a good one.I have had issues with my fuel card with a company I use to drive for and I didn't care how long I waited I was not paying for fuel. What did you do call them up and say I'm tired of waiting let me pay for the fuel for you?Your profile says 16 years as a trucker and you just think a company is going to reimburse you for fuel that you were crazy enough to pay for? Most guys complain they're making peanuts for pay but Giltner must pay good if you can afford to use your money for their fuel.

I never asked you to listen to me. I have no desire to appeal to people who have such terrible time management skills that they can't figure out 6 posts/day comes out to a few hours/month of free time that I'd otherwise be spending vegging out in front of a tv during my ten hour break.

Now now, can't we all just get along?

If you kids don't quit arguing I swear I'll turn this car around!

Insert your own cliche here... Or just stop arguing and I'll stop thinking them up.
