| GEEZ, tell me about. I think this is one lease purchase scheme I wouldn't mind getting involved with.

| I have been leased to CRST-Malone which is their flatbed division since they took over George Transfer in 1996.I have always done ok with these guys. I own (as in paid for ) my Tractor and trailer.I belive it would be a mistake to get into a lease purchase with just about any outfit out there right now including CRST.I have been doing this for thirty years and still learning. Also I am not the top money maker or hardest runner in the flatbed fleet but I haul what I want when I want where I want.We have no forced dispatch, but some of our agents will only offer you want they want you to haul, You have to be able to say NO. Most of the trouble I have had has been self inflicted. If I think I have been screwed I just load something and sit on it for about five days, this hurts me as much as the outfit but that is how I operate. Do not stick me and I will not stick you. Having said this some of the agents like Gene Siegal in Baltimore, Md will not offer me any frieght so I have to dead head out of that area. See Ya. |

They are collecting interest on our money. I could be collecting 2% on these funds. I think CRST-Malone is ripping us off. |

| another moral to the story is make sure u have full tanks that way if they do shut off fuel cards u can still make it back to where u want to go. did that with covenant. |

| I know quite a few bottom-feeder trucking companies that will hire you for $3500 up front -imagine if that was Arrow Trucking. =This is sort of a new scam for drivers that already have their CDL. -Sort of the inverse of schooling/training scam. |

There are some legit lease purchase programs that do take a down payment - but that's on a new truck - and they work directly with the dealer. But a down payment for an x-company used truck ...
