Roehl is on the short list, and hopefully sometime in june I can start working towards that cdl. The only reason I haven't started sooner is I am very cautious about starting things, and I also have this sick habit of making sure I don't leave my crappy boss short handed. I hate my job, hate my boss, but for some sick reason I can't just up and quit without a proper 2 weeks......just don't believe in burning bridges I guess.

I thought about job hopping after 3 months from my current carrier, but then asked myself, why? Too much paper work to fill out on job resumes, W2's at the end of the year and it looks better having solid experience from one company vs. jumping ship. My company isn't perfect, but I'm happy here minus the pay and the gutless truck I have.

I don't believe it's the company, but the people that work for the company and HOW you work. I'm not kissing roehls *** but I've been here 6 months and I average 2800-3100 wkly. nice truck, nice fm, long runs, I'm not planning on staying here forever, but it is one of the better starting company's. So when you get somebody that doesn't like OTR he's not going to say anything good about any OTR company. Take the good with the bad, instead you quit and cry and complain on here. That's why this, like so many other mega carriers that hire people that aren't cut out for it... Or the first thing that goes wrong and they start complaining like a ****.

And I have never seen a lawyer stand at the gas pump and take a leak.

That's why lawyers don't deserve to make big bucks.

Personally, I'm glad Roehl ran you off. I would be completely embarrassed by the attitude you have representing the same company I work for. I sat for 6 days before I got my trainer and I also called safety on him while I was in his truck. Got sucky miles and sat quite a bit. But unlike you, I was professional and asked what I could do to make things better. And guess what, they got better. Good luck finding a local job. Atleast then you can just bad mouth your town. Don't want ya making the rest of us look like ########.

And for the record. I love taking showers, have 2 small children and a husband, and I used to work in health care. I do perfectly fine in public and have a lot more tact than you obviously have.

You left a good career in health care, a husband, 2 children, for OTR trucking?
