I know we lost the Brawley beef plant in southern Cal but not sure what new accounts they have acquired. Unloaded phoenix monday and deadheaded to Henderson,Nv for reload of ice cream going to NM. Not a fun thing to reload when its 100+ and they wont load you till reefer is minimum -8:/.

 

i was in the irving yard last week and heard a couple of drivers talking about a new account out there, i didn't ask much about it because i'm trying my hardest to stay out of California.

Regarding the auto in the 680....it is nice in traffic and descent on hills. It sucks in high winds, winter driving and backing. And setting the power divider to automatically disable at 15mph without warning the driver is just wrong. Finding that out when trying to merge onto a snowpacked highway was a moment to ponder who in the company is trying to kill you.

 

Well, after a few back and forths with recruiting, I don't have enough recent OTR to get on with National, but I figure a year with Maverick should sort that out, so here's to hoping. I've scheduled my training with Maverick tentatively around late October/early November, so that should put me in a baby blue T700 sometime around Thanksgiving 2015. Thanks to everyone for all the help the gave, special shout out to Big Ole Bear.
