No problem. There are exceptions of course. Some drivers are forcing themselfes coz they love money too much and they think they are able to drive 900 miles every day.

Some companies are switching to elogs. I think multigroup is one of them.

Most of fedex ground freight is run by EE contractors,but they play by the book over there.
They pay W2,they hire mostly teams and they have consistent miles.

 

Driver greed is a big problem in this industry. They'll see the job pays $$$ but don't care to find out anything else.

Regarding companies out of Chicago , yes they all are crooks ! It's gotten to the point that they now import drivers from Easter Europe , guys get shipped over here work as pool boys on the east coast , as soon as the temporary visa expires they head to Chicago , go thru a cdl mill , marry a chick to get there status as a legal alien usually costs them between 10 to 15 k . Know bunch of em some own companies now doing the same thing .
