I gave my notice, a week's notice and because I told them I had another job, they got MAD??? I had put up with many things, found another job. Told them if they paid me that amount and gave me a new truck, (I will explain if need be.) I would stay, Dispatch said oh no can't do that, and if you quit your pay will drop to min. wage. Well at that point I didn't care. But to go into my bank account and with draw my hard earned money, that was about the only good size check I had made. I can explain more there too. I never took draws, paid my own tolls and scales. I owed them nothing! Oh, its that little trucking company in Somerset, KY. If anyone has any questions, or answers feel free to comment! Thanks

image.jpg Pretty sure he's talking SuperService. But then again nothing made sense. So I refer to this.

That isn't the first story of this nature I've seen here. Last time I saw something like this, it was Swift and JB Hunt that were the culprits. Apparently they like to call that "withdrawal of funds for accidental overpayment."

I avoid direct deposit when possible for this reason.

Joesph said he thinks its Superservice,is that the company?Take them to small claims court, you'll get you're money back.I drove for Gainey who was owned at that time by the same person. They withld my last paycheck and charged me for road brkdown. They didn't reimburse me for scales or tolls.I got my money back and an apology from Mr.Gainey but that didn't ease my mind how bad I hated the company.

pattyj gave you some good advice. I really do not understand how the bank allowed this. The court room is the place to settle it and the cost to you is very little. Once the warrant is served, most probably you will get your money back.

OK folks, read the "fine" print when you sign up for direct deposit. It states clearly on the form the employer can deposit AND WITHDRAW from your account. You are giving them access to your bank account. If you quit go immediately to your bank, close your account, then re-open a new account. Same with Com-data, if your company pays you thru Com-data they can get into your account and withdraw.
