CR ENGLAND out of Richmond IN

I just returned home from attending CR England training out of Richmond Indiana and it was the worse experience ever. After riding the grayhound for 19 hours I arrived at the school and was rushed into taking tests the first day. You stay in the classroom from 6am till 6pm Monday-Friday but still have classes Sat and Sun also the classes just aren't as long on the weekends. When you get to the school they try to cram a lot of info into you on the first day and then you test the next day. You have a test everyday and if you fail 6 times you are sent packing. The class is filled with kids that are talking and playing all the time so you can't concentrate at all but the instructors expect you to pass the tests anyway. The hotel is crap that you have to sleep at and is covered with bed bugs. I stayed in a room with a huge hole in the wall and no tv. We had to dry our clothes with a blow dryer because the dryer didn't work. We send money on food everyday because you can't keep food cold because the refrigerator if you are lucky to get one doesn't work either. There is no housekeeping for CR England students and it's not the hotel's fault because they are doing or not doing anything for the rooms because that's what CR England has told them so that they could get a cheaper rate. You have to wake up early and be outside to wait on the bus to take you to the school at 4am even though the bus never comes at this time and when they do come you wait in the classroom till 6 when your instructor comes in. They make you sign a bunch of paperwork that you aren't suppose to read just sign and you will not get a copy. After you sign all the paperwork which I believe is just saying you will pay them back regardless if you pass or get kicked out by no fault of your own they start kicking people out left and right because of simple things such as having a seat belt ticket that happened 5 yrs ago. My instructor laughed about kicking 22 people out after passing the cdl test and said he needed to get rid of some more people because he already met his quota for the month. This school needs to get so many students a month to meet their quotas to receive a grant and after they enroll so many they start sending students home. You are there for three days taking tests and then you go to start a pre trip of the truck and start driving in less than a week. The instructors yell and curse at you while you are trying to learn how to drive the truck and expect you to be driving with no problems. I've seen a woman get kicked out because she jerked the truck hard when her instructor scared her by screaming at her while driving. I've heard them say racial jokes about blacks and other minorities, talk bad about women, and all kinds of other things instructors shouldn't do. I left to come home at my own expense to see my dying mother and the instructors said it had nothing to do with the school so they made me pay but paid for another student that had a family emergency. So many students started trying to fail just so they could leave and go to another school because they were lied to about this school. If you are trying to go to school and want real training do not attend this school. The pay is only min wage when you do start driving for this company and it's based on your states min wage not Indiana's unless that's the state you currently live. You might make 300 a wk with this company and your loan is taken out from that. You pay for food while there and anything thing else you really need. You are paying back 6000 for 17 days of sitting in a noisy classroom and staying in a filthy hotel basically. All bad thing you read about this company is true so run far away from these people. They believe I'm coming back to finish but I'm going with another school like so many others have done
