Yes, and if you put chicken lights all over it, then you really have something. Some will tell you $500 worth of lights adds $10k to the resale value :biggrin_25523:

I see a run of the mill fleet truck with a lot of cosmetics. Remove the make-up and you will see a Pro-Star

Well, good for you, sport. I have owned 4 W900's, 2 Pete 379's, a 377, a Freightliner FLD112, and a 9670 International. Also, I have DRIVEN a Lonestar, and it is no where near the price they are asking for it. That is FACT, not opinion. Go drive one, then come back and you can defend it. As as for the 9900, it is nothing more than an upgraded 9400, which was an upgraded 9000. Best served as floral decorations in someones front yard. BTW, I've driven a 9400 also. Nuff said

So I guess judging by you & freightlinerman comments the W9 & 379 are the only true hoods? A Coronado is a Century Class with a narrow hood & some crome, same interior & dash layout.

And If I'm defending anything it's the notion that it wasn't put on the market to give O/O's & small fleet an alternative to the other hoods, you must can't read as I've stated I could careless about the Lonestar as a rig, I think it's a ok looking rig personally but If you drove it & hated it, cool beans bro. You hate the truck, doesn't one bit changed what reason Navistar made the truck for. I'm not all debating that it's an "Great Truck". Heck if you show me where in anyone of my post where I stated this then I'll ####

.25 per mile is around $750 per week payment. Hope for their sake it does not.

You know.. the thing is... in order to make a lease purchace work.. you have to know as much as it would take to be a successful O/O... most of the lease purchase programs are geared towardsthose whith bad credit.. which means they arent good with money management... and money management is an important part of being a successful O/O...
Also, it seems most of the driver who are drawn to lease programsare still relatively new to truck driving and the industry... which tells me, that if the people with experience and knowledge pass on lease programs then they must not be good... or they would signing up...

There will always be lease purchase programs... so, I figure when ihave enough experience and know how to be a successful company driver, then and only then am I ready to co sider being an O/O.. and wojld have saved up enough money and have good credit so my options are not limited...
