A lot of those expenses you would have at home too, so that's really not fair. With that being said though, we are somewhat trapped into paying too much for supplies that we have to get on the road. I bring some food with me out of the house, but still spend some money daily. I rarely spend more than $100-125/week though, could probably spend less, but not pinching pennies that tight.

Forgot to mention, if I wasn't making more than $600/week, I would be finding a better job. If you can't make at least $1000/week it's not hardly worth being OTR. Just my opinion.

Most new drivers in training spend 3 to 4 months out on the road and make less than 300 a week. after 4 monthsthey are asked too drive for 2 to 8 months for less than 500.00 . (most) do not see a weekly check for more than 600.00 minus taxes and minus expenses while on the road. Maybe after 1 year of experience ( Most ) new drivers will appreciate a weekly pay check of 1000.00. SAD !
