I just want to warn all drivers out there about america Midwest transportation in new Ulm mn.
Stay away from this company they are terrible. Lies cheats and crooks. They run they place like outlaws they stress safety and compliance until they need you to run illegal. They'll lease you a truck that you'll never get paid off. They overcharge you for repairs they'll get you home when its convenient for them. There freight is cheap and they treat there mechanics like crap. They just had a dot audit and are in serious hot water with the DOT. They claim non forced dispatch but will force any and everything down your throat. They only care about there pockets nothing about you. They'll deadhead you all over with no pay and there rates are low, if you ask to see the rate sheets to prove the pay you'll never get it. They don't give you all the fuel discounts and the owner will never answer anything honestly. They'll tell you whatever you wanna hear just to shut you up. They'll push trucks out the shop without performing all the repairs especially safety. They care more about there freight then equipment and driver safety. They don't pay there mechanics ot and expect them to work extremely long low paid hours. Not to mention they care more about a clean truck then safety. There leasing program isn't legal if you break downyoure expected to deal with it on your own even if its there equipment. They'll instruct you how to run around scales and how to cheat a log.
If you wanna be lied to cheated abused and forced to run illegal with a high FMCSA score then this is the place to work.

Sounds like just about every other post on just about every other company, Stop leasing trucks from companies!, you want to be a O/O? go to a dealership and buy a truck

Just goes to show you that every driver should check out EVERY company's CSA score before signing on with them. Where there is smoke there is fire. I am sorry you had a bad experience there, but one thing I will say is that NO company can make you run illegally. It is your responsibility to make sure you follow DOT guidelines, and if they don't like it, take your driving services elsewhere. Good luck.

A driver will only put up with so much of the bs that garland and Chris are trying to peddle.

Curious..As I would never work there as they don't haul what I like to do..for 5 years I hear nothing bad about them and now;in two days I see 2 threads blowing them to Hell. Oh..I do not doubt what you say is true as:That area is my home however;whispers and rumors are not my style. Interesting. NOW I have something to do when I get home!! Been awhile since havin "one" at the CrowBar in Courtland.. :)
