    WARNING FOR Canadian Truck Drivers and Owner Operators Stay away from Jackpot Logistics

    [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif]These guys are crooks. I started working for them as an owner operator and boy did i make the worst mistake. Their dispatcher is rude and all he cares about is delivering on time and forcing all the drivers to ignore HOS rules and not give us our break. They told me they will pay every 15 days with the first paycheck after 30 days. At the end of 30 days i never got my paycheck. They owe me over $7000. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!!!! PERFECT RUSSIAN SCAM ARTISTS. [/FONT]

    Two mistakes you made here right off the bat.

    First of all, I would have made it clear to these people right from the start that I have absolutely ZERO intention of running outlaw. Dispatcher stupidity does NOT and will NEVER trump federal HOS regs in any ship that I am the captain of.

    That would most likely have ended the interview right there. But if not, the first paycheck discrepancy would need to be the last one.

    I did not mean to hurt any sentiments of any section of the society and my statements with regards to the ethnicity of the owners of jackpot and the innuendo that they are attached to certain groups is regretted.
