Whomever driving for the Robbie D. Wood truck company hauling ### through Spring Hill/Columbia Tn today (August 16,2014) around 10:30-11 am, you need to be evaluated. You should have been issued a handful of tickets. Speeding, reckless driving, etc. I will be looking into reporting you officially. I have your tag numbers. You tailgated every car you came near, weaving in and out of traffic, and speeding excessively. I was really counting on you getting clocked. I am extremely upset. With all of the trucking companies in the area wrecking over the last week makes me even more mad that this man was driving so irate. I really wish I called the highway patrol like my instincts told me to. SLOW DOWN BEFORE YOU KILL SOMEONE AND YOURSELF!!!

They are a big hazardous materials hauler. If it was a real concern you had, get the truck and/or trailer number and call the company.

So instead of calling the company and/or the highway patrol you decided to make a post about what you coulda woulda shoulda done. If you felt this strongly about the danger this driver was causing to the public you should have taken action instead of making a Facebook status, Twitter update, etc. There's three types of people in this world, sheep, wolves, and sheep dogs.

Call the police next time. Make sure you tell the cops the truck is placarded, (if it is).
The companies rarely do anything of consequence if you call them, but the driver and company may pay attention if he gets a ticket while placarded.

My guess is the OP googled how to report a bad trucking company and wound up here. What he/she really wants to do is report a bad driver. As I understand it Robbie D Wood is a very good company to work for. They pay well and treat drivers well. It is scary if they have a guy driving recklessly though given the nasty hazmat they haul.

@blacktop- I knew some road-trash would reply like you have. So nearby in Franklin, Tn - two days ago there was a tanker wreck that destroyed a bridge and killed the trucker. Tragic. The side effects from this will be the interstate is shut down for days and bridge it out for 90 days- so therefore there's a lot of truckers and heavy traffic on highway 31. It's all very frustrating for everyone. I was on the road with this guy from rdw trucking for maybe 4 miles. He quickly turned off and cut through a used car lot. I lost him. It is not entirely MY job to control this idiots driving. I came to this forum to shame him. Yes, shame him! I woulda coulda shoulda done a lot to this driver, BUT I did not. Most days I wish I had a snow plow and a big truck of my own to railroad people like you. And for your last sentence about three types of people...you forgot the fence post. Pound sand ######.

Well Swoddard from the way the post I just deleted read you are more concerned with your commute time caused by the tanker wreck on I-65 than you are the life and family of the truck driver who died. We are not "road-trash". We are hard working middle class citizens trying to make a living. There are some bad apples sure but the large majority of truck drivers are the safest drivers on the road. That is why about 80% of the wrecks involving big trucks and cars are caused by the car driver.

Negative @wsyrob. You can delete my post all day and night. Please learn to read and write. I clearly wrote my last post towards "blacktop junkie" hence the "@blacktop". So when you read road-trash then translated it to "trucker-trash" that's in your head. Sensitive much? I am extremely concerned for the family of the man from Lawrenceburg that crashed on I-65. It breaks my heart as I grew up extremely close to that area. And recognize his family's! I couldn't care less about commute time. I have nothing but respect for those who respect me. Today on Highway 31 I had my 3 year old in the car with me. My prized possession. When a multi-ton truck doing 20 over the limit is tailgating and weaving in traffic I can't exactly control that. Maybe he was in a rush bc the interstate situation. No excuses. I stated I was here to shame him and his company to bring light to a company with a "good rep". I should have called highway patrol but #### happens so fast. So yes @wsyrob google freak'n brought here and by God I'm announcing it. Sue me. Block me. Delete me. At least I am doing SOMETHING. I have a very large family of truckers. I praise you for a job that must be done but you do not rule the road. There are a few bad apples and I happened to spy one today. So here I am- pointing my finger. To the rest of YOU. Thank you for supplying America with all of our products/needs to live daily. Don't fight a fight that's not yours.

How do you know he was doing 20 over, do you have a radar gun? Any other method would mean you ere doing 20 over also.
