They started out alright, but have progressively worsened with every week. The day dispatchers are so so, but the night and weekend dispatchers will take you off a preplanned with you in route to give it to someone else. If you live in the north, they run you south. They keep you in the same area so you don't get many miles. They also cheat you out of miles but always have an excuse for it. The upkeep on the trucks is not much better. Talk is cheap, their claim to fame is that they RESPECT their drivers. They are definitely making false statements because of the way drivers are treated. They make you jump through hoops during the hiring process and it doesn't get any better. They keep you from making a decent living by not getting loads for more than 500 miles a trip. My Husband doesn't turn down loads, he's trying to make our living. And it's tough to do on 1500-1700 a week!

They just got bought out by a Canadian company and are cleaning house and moving folks around so there are people that really do not now their new jobs.

Also hear that drivers are waiting around longer in Atlanta from other areas as they are not getting loads out of ATL as there is less loads to be had going elsewhere lately. I know a lot of drivers are resigning, but that may be because there are trucking co's desperately recruiting in that area as its such a huge transportation hub. Even daily driving positions are desperate and dropping their requirements of driving experience down to 1 yr or less. And being home each day or night in your own bed is a big draw.

are these companies claiming to be in this and not make money? just curious .. are you on the road with your husband? I assume you are since you know for a fact he doesn't turn down ANY loads. by reading your thread I assume yall are running team? I only say this because you seem to know how everyone at the company treats all its drivers.. may not be the miles that are being cheated here. you may need to pay more attention to your husband and less attention to the company

Where do you think she's getting her information? That's what disgruntled husbands do, gripe for hours on end to the only one who cares. And be sure he will discuss every single issue he sees and hears about. With trucking where it is today and with what we all hear and see, all this sounds about right.

It is absolutely a waste of time to post any bad experiences you have had with a company on here because you get all these clowns who think they know everything and are gonna tell you why you are badmouthing a company.

It's more the seasoned members knowing that there are two sides to a story. Especially when the story is given by a party who isn't the driver.

This sounds like a typical big OTR company.
Just keep the trucks full, doesn't matter whether or
not we got enough freight to keep them busy.
