This post is to inform all drivers and o/o to not drive for Genesis Truck Yard, located at 3421 Ave. D, Arlington, TX. Genesis will try to get you to run illegal. They will book you a load without your knowledge, send you the rate confirmation, and if you deny the load they will charge you $1000.00. They try to force single drivers to run a team load. You will never get any of your detention pay and they charge you a lot of fees and fines that they can't prove you did. They just take the money out of your check. Thomas, the owner, is in debt with QTL a major brokering company. He owes QTL $75,000.00 and has not attempted to pay them. QTL has black balled Genesis with all the good brokers, so you will only get bad, low paying loads. Genesis is now offering to buy people trucks, but I warn all my fellow truckers not to work for them. Genesis had 90 employees a year ago, now they have 22, this shows you how bad this company is. Before I removed my truck, I personally saw 9 drivers remove their trucks from Genesis. I was cheated out of my entire check, so I have notified DOT of Genesis illegal practices. So, all weigh stations are being notified of Genesis practices. I hope you are not leased on or have a truck with Genesis!!!

Worked there for a month that was the worst month of my life.
They manufacture expenses ie they charge you for things even when you were not there like tolls, trailer inspection etc
They tell you that trailer charges are $20.00 per day but charge $55.00 per day.
if you are a driver please be advised not to go there. They lie too much and make sure that you don't get a penny.
They want you to became a pauper while working there and want you to keep asking for a loan which they charge interest.
Usually give up loads at night and as a driver you don't get time to rest.

Mr. "Ondari", two things you need to keep in mind.

Number one, we speak English here.

    Two, we don't allow bigotry.

    Your post will be edited.

    Carry on.

It is true that genesis is very dishonest company. They do not have loads any more and the ones they have are very cheap. Drivers sit every where they go. Their deductions are outrageous!! $ 55/day for the trailer when the contract says $20. All repairs done on the trailer before the new driver hits the road are charged on the driver!! Wow. It is also true that drivers are put in a situation where they have to run illegally by giving solos team loads to be delivered in a short time. Free parking/free repairs end up being very expensive when you are charged $1800/month for the trailer whether you have a load or not. You will also be charged $200 hiring fee!! outrageous. Work here at your own risk.

Most people don't put their real name. Not a very smart thing to do on a forum...

your own math pretty much verifies what he said is NOT "gabbage"
i guess at around $1700/mo you have plenty of drivers but at $1800 you wouldn't have any?? What a load of BS. AND wtf is $10/day for FREE repairs??

you keep coming across as a real piece of work.
    Hope you get shutdown ASAP!!

I will jump in on this one. I am a company owner and have my chops busted on this site, but there is a lot of valuable give and take. Tons of BS here but I have learned a lot listening to the driver side of things. Swore I would never post here again, but just listen in. But here goes anyway. I can rent/lease/buy trailers all day long at $400.00 per month. $20.00 per day. Insurance? About $400 per year per trailer for physical damage. I cannot figure out $25.00 per day unless he is trying to cover general liability insurance as well. Maintenance under contract is at most $.04 per mile. 2,000 miles per week is $80.00, 3,000 miles is $120.00 per week. Don't know what "free repairs are". Insurance sure looks to me a money maker to me. $25/day. time 5 days times 50 weeks. $6,520. Sure smells like he is covering general liability with trailer insurance.
