Rick,

Thanks! Would this be written complaints to the FMCSA?

It is ludicrous for these BOTTOM FEEDERS to receive "Incentives" from the Federal Govt to hire new Graduates. This extra incentive, plus incentives to even own a truck driver tng program is a big problem.

They will mill out students for their parent company and receive the incentives. They don't care after they get the incentives, that is why turn over is a GOOD thing in their eyes.

With these current Federally funded "Incentives" being given to these Bottom Feeders, it has created a situation where processing the student and driver are way more important than actually driving.

~The profits are now in their schools and incentives. Not in the drivers.~

With Carolina Cargo Inc., being a leader of the Bottom Feeders, dead heading weekly to pick up produce, they will make more money replacing a driver, than hauling anything.

This is very sad. Federal funds hurting the system by allowing these schools to mill out drivers. (Over flooding an already saturated Market.)

Continuing to give incentives to companies that will exploit drivers and have excessively high turn over rates.
If these "Incentives" should be monitored more closely for abuse that would help.

I know that new graduates need a start and GOOD companies deserve these "Incentives",
But, the abuse of this needs to STOP!

Carolina Cargo's Track Record:

Originally, J&J Trucking , due to bankruptcy had changed their name SEVERAL times, Carolina Cargo-to- Carolina Cargo Inc-to-Carolina Logistics, they are working under several entities.

Their Drvr Trng Sch's in NC, Carolina Driving Institute, had one location in Charlotte,NC. They closed this location in an over night decision.

IMHO, they will take the available training funds for tuition and these Federal "incentives" for employing and pump out 100's of drivers in their eagerness to make money. Then they will declare bankruptcy and change names, again or close their doors all together. It does not matter to them.

They will leave bunches of drivers that have had their lives changed and/or careers ruined over falling in the path of the companies main goal.

That is the truth of trucking today and these bottom feeders. They need to be regulated and held accountable. This problem leaks onto Society. I see the drivers in droves at the unemployment offices.

This over abundance of drivers that only got to work for about 1 month for CCI is crazy.

Cuz said, Naysaying about Carolina Cargo's hiring practices, are you listening to what you are saying the key phrase is THEIR practices, all of them! I was at a Pilot in Salinas Ca. when one of their "drivers" who was already parked and already had consumed a case of beer, decided to move his truck and took off some guy's mirror, he is probably a trainer now at CC. Mirrors aren't that expensive. You can afford to buy em by the gross if you pay 10 cents P/M. No biggie.- Thats RESPECT!

Stopsign Gauges,vs.Idiot Lights

CUZ, If you a such a pro., why did you keep going until the head gasket blew. There is a reason you have gauges to moniter, brand new means watch for bugs, another hint, they are built on a production line. Look it up, Ray Kroc the founder of McDonald's originated the scientific method of micro-management-e.g. it should only take you X amount of time to produce any sandwich. Key Word- PRODUCE-

STOP FOREST STOP

OLDFOX,

FYI, when you want to Quote someone, just hit the QUOTE option as opposed to a new posting.

This brings the information together for the reader.

BTW, LMHO!!!!

I agree that there are more problem children than quality drivers there but when you have a steady partner, that no longer becomes your concern.
I have someone who rents a room from me and he trains for them.
he loves being out there and only comes home every three months.

I drove for CC 14 months total.
in that time I never got fined for a single thing.
my tenant still drives for them and they think he's the best thing on the road because he loves being on the road being part of something.
I believe they are doing what they can to get rid of the bad numbers within their flock.
But to be honest it sounds like you all don't want to give any one a second chance in life.
Is that what you learned in Church?
some people here are hating CC because they crashed and burned .
Theres two sides to every story.
But I will concede that there were some people with deficits in their personality who needed to see a shrink in order to get better. those people never drove with me again.
