Our new member Mr Dude is a recruiter for JB Hunt trucking. He is to be given the same level of politeness and consideration that would be afforded to any other poster. He is not personally to blame for any evils or perceived wrongs that his employer has done, and I will expect that conversations with him will maintain a civil tone. He is a useful asset, has information in an area of trucking that is both important and a total mystery to most of us and most likely will be willing to answer questions, regardless of whether you like the answers that he provides.

As with anyone else on here, he is aware of the rules prohibitting recruiting, and has agreed to abide by them.

Let's keep the conversations on a reasonable level and not let any prejudices or grudges you may have against recruiters in general, or one specific company drive him off.

Thanks, Burky, I have set him in his own usergroup so he cannot recruiter our members. I will welcome him IF he acts decent and acknowledges issues are there with JB Hunt. If Mr Dude wants to just be another rah, rah, rah we are the best type, I'll remove him. We fight for truckers here and are not a recruiting site like sooooo many others are. Please understand this. I read this thread after posting a response on JB_Buddy's thread. I did edit said post after reading this, but it may still be a bit racy if you guys are gonna wax diplomatic here. I can do another edit if needed.

Sounds like this Dude dude is trying to pull a fast one on you guys. Come on. I know you can see this, WiseMan. My guess is he's been here before and has been banned. He's come back because he has unfinished business to tend to, as you did ban him after you caught onto him. His number of trophies look lower than his quota for this month, so he has to make contact again with a few potential recruits who gave him nibbles when he was here last. He still has some time to make that bonus.

If I ran this site, and I'm not trying to criticize anyone understand, recruiters would never be allowed to post, no matter if they promise to behave themselves and promise not to exploit the site for their own personal gain. Personal gain that ultimately comes at the expense of the average JB driver. Yeap, the leech that is the trucking company recruiter would be gone for good if he made himself known, either directly or in subtle ways.

But that's just me. I can say that it is good in a way a recruiter comes around, as recruiters sooner or later always reveal their true colors on these websites. I know, as I've IMPed a website or two in my time.

I would be interested in what he has to say. I have
heard so many horror stories about JB over the years,
they are usually entertaining. He may come up with
some changes that the company puts in place to hire drivers and
keep them. More and more people have access to the internet these
days even if they have to go to a public library. If he lies to us
it should not be hard to find out.

After chatting with racists, Liberals, homophobes, and possible transvestites on this forum, a JB recruiter doe not bother
me at all.

I try not to judge those that judge others for things they cannot
