Henderson is now Prime. And that's the way it is. WilTrans, O & S, Jim Palmer, and now Henderson are all under the Prime thumb. What they say goes. Add a few more trucks to the 58 mph fleet.

I'm the friend TexasPhoenix talks about. What she says is absolutely correct. Henderson DID NOT SELL OUT. They leased on to Prime via their Advanced Fleet Program. They are retaining their authority, insurance and dispatch among other things. We are pulling Prime freight on Prime trailers. Henderson brought their customers into the agreement.

We are still running 65. We fuel within their fuel network, can use their facilities etc. While I don't exactly know why Josh (Kaburik) made this decesion, I am sure it was economics that led to it. Henderson is not large enough to compete with larger companies. I rather pull a Prime trailer and have a job than the companies closing and scrambling for one.

We are getting a pay raise of 4.cents a mile, which is nice. We are tied into the fuel incentive program too which adds to the 4 cents a mile.

I feel for the original poster. But how is it Henderson fault that Travelers went belly up? They had insurance a s dictated by law. Legally they have done what they are supposed to do. Could they do more? Sure, but I am guessing that their lawyers are probably advising against it for liability.

I do hope you get the help you need and deserve.

In response to your question yes it was windy that day but nothing over 30 mph. An like you I have been driving for many years. An this was a straight line wind. Which nobody can predict when or where that will happen. It was just one of those things that did. It was nobodies fault. I am not blaming anyone. As Henderson I never said they went bankrupt I said the workers comp did which was not travelers it was freestone insurance. An as for them joining up with prime I have found out more on this post than I have from anyone else as I stated early in this I am still waiting on answers. An again thanks for your help an support. Have a great day

  8. Hey y'all talking about Henderson, just left the yard the word is that prime has given the prime loads to their drivers, had some of Henderson drivers leave this week, talked with other drivers they say their miles have dropped, pay is up but no miles,I went from 2300 miles to about 1000 in 3weeks,been here 19months a week after merger my miles drop like a rock in water,I been on time in apps and drops not one time late, last month I made under 600for that month, been doing short runs under 400miles for a whole month. Oh at the yard in CaseyVille there are 4 rolls of trucks empty, but we still have low miles!
