Went to train at Roehl in marshfield WI there for a week.

I slipped in there facility injured my hand badly. No wet floor sign had high end non slip boots on they took me to the hospital multiple breaks after being doped up so they could set it got splinted up sent back to the terminal. They were obviously were unable to get a release they had me get my belongings from the classroom and hotel and put me out on the street but not before telling me no worksman comp because i was a trainee.

Mind you i still fell at there business because of rain and drivers tracking in diesel fuel on there shoes. That if i had been a normal person they still need to cover it. I paid my way home they had earlier in the week sent someone home paid for him to fly because he found a local job. Even told me to come back after I am healed up.

They should have paid your way home.Sign or no sign you need to pay attention to everything. There's going to be times a floor, concrete ect will be slippery either from fuel, oil, snow, ice ect.Even though there was no wet floor sign, you couldn't see the floor was wet?

Truck driving can take a lot out of you,are you sure this is the right field you should be seeking? You broke hand 4 times, sounds like trk driving work is too much stress on your hand.Chances are you'll break it again and again. Can you tell me what you're doing that is causing you to break your hand?

Were you collecting income from the company as a trainee? If so, they must pay out workmans comp claims..." Any Employee" is by definition qualifies you "only" if you were "hired and working". Seems these companies are trying to pull a fast one on another "Dum A .. Driver". You need weekly paystub in your hand and call OSHA with in thirty days or the claim will be denied.

He has a tendency to have accidents...That is a problem if he would become a driver...his accident rate will need to be monitored....Getting fired the first week for being disabled is not a good start to a career in Trucking.
