Had interview yesterday. Was told to let them know if I'm interested , I called today and said I'm def. interested. Maybe a week before they let me know if they want me. Got fingers and everything else crossed. I'm not sure where to go from here if this check doesn't show tomorrow.

21+ days following official hire date to first direct deposit is not unheard of due to cut-off dates to pay dates, pay periods, pay processing, DD authorization, initial clearing house accounting, bank posting delays, etc. Actually, to see a first DD before the initial 14 days is almost unheard of.

Direct Deposit setup does not take 3 weeks unless you just play around at being in business, I signed on a new driver on Monday his $ will be in his account this coming Monday, his orientation $ was in his account on this past Thursday

It doesn't take that long unless it's not on your priority list to do it quickly to take care of your drivers, I've had DD for at least 20 years. Never been issue at other places. Done right away.
I did get check in mail Saturday morning. Not as much as I hoped and no signing bonus in it. Was told these went out Wednesday morning. They are only hour and half from here yet it took three days to get here. Hhmm? Makes you wonder. And of course I can't use the money yet until Monday . Because it was check . Took to bank Saturday as soon as I got it. At least I hope its added to my balance Monday. Either way I should have been paid my second week . And 1/2 signing bonus should have been had already . This company seems very unorganized. They gave me fuel card and first time I used it it didn't work. Station turned pump on and I pumped, While waiting for someone to fix card after making phone calls. I'll never do that again. Could have been stuck paying it. Bad enough I was stuck there for over an hour trying to get card to work. Finally it did. I figure I'll never see the bonus money.
Thanks for advice and I'll keep,it in mind if they try and bone me on last check .

"Sign on bonus"= You should of recieved a check, hand delivered for entire promised amount, from a company rep standing over you as you hand him the pen you just used to sign your name on the APP..If not, then it is not a "sign on bonusc and sure sign of a "gimmick" and a point at which I would have ended any further dealings with them..just my take..If you promise me a "sign on bonus" that is exactly what I expect...

Your first mistake was that you continued working beyond the first week of not getting paid.

Deleted, it usually takes 2 weeks of work before your first payroll check, its called holding a week back. And its normal. I didnt get my first week of orientation pay from TMC till the end of my second week. People who get paid biweekly sometimes wait as much as 4 weeks for their first check.

Something doesnt smell right with this guy. If the company was so bad before you started or while you was in orientation, then why even stay? Did you not bother to do any checking into the company prior to signing on with them?

I understand how payroll works. I'll explain it to you. Let's say I start a company on Monday and pay day is on Friday. If I work a full week and am not paid the following Friday I'm not working another day until I am paid for the first week. If you're waiting 2 weeks to get paid you're a fool.
