do NOT work for this company the pay sucks!! some weeks I don't get anything at all i've seen checks at $300 $500 and rarely $1200 week mostly run $300-$700 a week on the lower end and i stay out 2 weeks at a go. they set me out all weekend middle of know where tell me my load unloads at certain times on a saturday but then its really not till monday. dispatches lie to you. Lease truck comes with a maintance plan that i pay EVerY week but when my batter was dead they call for someone in another STATE to come jump me off..... man called and i told him they sent him wrong place then i call them back to get right person called out someone close by and then they charge me $200 for having to be jumped off cause my battery dead said my maint plan didnt cover that???? bull puck....

If i didn't want to own my truck so bad I would drop this dead beat company fast better yet I'm looking ASAP
I got a famly to support and i know there are better compaines out there.

Lol if you need to call the company to jump off a dead battery then you may be in the wrong line of work.

nope I'm no dummy have experience working on own truck worked as diesel mechainc several years... didn't have anything strong enough to jump it.... battery was totally gone its a 2007 truck batteries never been changed needed new battery but they accused me of leaving something on to drain it... humm nothing but a phone charger in the truck and it drained it over night? NOT replaced battery out my own pocket cause maint plan doesn't cover batteries. so wondering what else it doesn't pay for? I have paid in over $20,000 in maint and they can't buy me a battery?

You couldn't get another truck to jump you? $200 for a jump even here in Chicago seems steep

Nothing adds up here, and then again, it all adds up perfectly. You've got 22 years, signed on to do a lease purchase (uh huh), leasing an 8 year old truck (yup) and you're sticking around because you want a truck so bad (wow) and the batteries went dead and they were never changed (according to you).

If you knew the batteries were old, why didn't you replace them? Or didn't you know? Either way both scenarios are bad considering that 22 years of experience you say you have and the fact you're "buying the truck".

nope I'm no dummy have experience working on own truck worked as diesel mechainc several years... didn't have anything strong enough to jump it.... battery was totally gone its a 2007 truck batteries never been changed :biggrin_2555: supposed MECHANIC gets a truck with 7 year old batteries and does not question anything until their dead I guess the statement of If i didn't want to own my truck so bad explains a lot

Yep, was wondering the same thing. Seems to me a mechanic worth his salt would have done a comprehensive walk around/inspection of a truck he was about to lease, saw that the batteries were older than dirt thus having them changed as a matter of preventative maintenance. I mean.. that's what this mechanic would do.
