He promises $800 to $900 a week, but I see only about $400 a week for running 2500-3000 miles a week, which comes out to about .16 to .133 cents a mile. no benifits, also when you do fuel up at night, beware that you may have to sit and wait for them to show up at the office in the morning to get a com check to pay for the fuel because the com data or esf cards come up invalid all the time, hence most of the time you are late for pickups or deliveries. This companies has a high turn over rate.
All I can say is beware of this company, DO NOT WORK FOR THEM.
thanks for the warnings was thinking about driving for them but after seeing this

I can answer why there is an opening !!! My husband went to work for them in Aug 09. After reading these testimonials...he has his reservations working for them...BUT we were convinced by KATIE who is supposibly the "New" office manager/dispatcher that the company was being "REVAMPED" and an all new staff was being hired. So my husband said he would give it a try.
YES, All trucks are ####, he almost lost a load of 40,000+ cans of energy drink due to a small hole that was forming at the bottom of a crappy trailor....WTF ???

after he got his first paycheck of working 2+ weeks and runs from Sioux Falls, Omaha, back to Sioux Falls and Mpls, Then a couple small local runs and then a run from Fridley MN to Grand Rapids, MI, to chicago and all he got paid was $579 ???? He can't support a family of 4 on that ####...
So he told Katie to F off and she FIRED him ( get this) VIA TEXT MESSAGE !!!!!!! <--- not kidding, then later that night her husband calls my husbands cell phone and leave terroristic threats on his voice mail ( so volger to the point I can NOT even repeat what was said) but it went on for 2 days, so we called our local PD here ( who are also my coworkers) and had a report filed and got a case # as well.....
well a week later Katie calls again (after leaving the truck parked in the unsecured spot in Shakopee) to tell us we are being blaimed for damage to the truck !!! Nope...not gonna fly with us hunny !!! First of all Wright County can't do ###### if the truck is in another county( scott county) or was orig. parked there at the time of his exit from the company...and we live in Hennepin County...so that 3 diffrent counties...
One of my Det. who has this case personally said that if my husband were to be arrested for anything that involved that company would have to go thru him first because of the threats Kaite's Husband/BF left us......so guess what Katie...if you are reading this .... YOU LOOSE !!!!!!!!!

Yes, my husband did find a new job, MUCH better pay, VERY flexable for time off....and get this...the new place also pays you if you have to wait !!!! it's all local and he is home everynight...which is good for me, cuz I was having a hard time with the overnight sitter we had !!!!

Right on Suzy!

Revamped? LMAO!!!!

They have been saying that for years to lure people in to work for them. There was a nice dispatcher that wroked there - and they told her the same story. (Oh the company is being revamped) She gave them time to PROVE what they claimed, but she ended up quitting because of the lies.

In a way I am sort of glad your hubby tried Bjorklund Trucking out - because NOW YOU BELIEVE US DON'T YOU SUZY!

I need a job really bad, I've been without work for over 1 year. But I would NEVER even THINK about working for Bjorklund Trucking.

And besides, the last day I worked for them I got so pissed at the boss (Sunil) that I dumped a large cup of hot coffee all over his desk WHILE he was sitting in it GOD THAT WAS FUN!

So once again drivers - Suzy has just backed up our little Bjorklund story - what more do you drivers need!

The sad thing is that they have been around forever and years and years ago they used to be a decent company (different owner). 119XXX MC number, so they've been around for a while.

Suzy, they hire a lot of riff raff - when I was working there I had hundreds of dollars worth of gear ripped off by other drivers. So if they hire low life criminals, they get what they hired.

I charged Bjorklund for my stolen equipment and to their credit they did pay me back for my gear.

This is not why Bjorklund has crappy trucks and trailers - the reason is because the owner (Sunil) will not buy new equipment on a regular basis. He "runs them into the ground" at the risk of the driver and other people out on the freeways. Drivers do thier pre trips - but sometimes things break where you least expect it - especially in Bjorklund trucks!

Be safe - stay away from Bjorklund Trucking from Buffalo Mn
