Stay away from roehl transport!

    I wish that was the case. Sadly, I'm the one that doesn't want to be home. I was going for my cdl because both of my parents were drivers, but I want to team, and don't want to team with just anyone....

    I highly doubt they're forcing him to do anything, they are a forced dispatch company but they'll review his logs and see if he's doing something like wasting time. Plus if he isn't trip planning correctly that's why he's sitting on the side of the road. I Never had that problem when I worked there.
    I unplugged my bendix system fuse and turned that crap off. Going over on a pm is normal, happened to me all the time at roehl and happens even at my current job.

    It's not illegal for no mudflaps, there were plenty of times I took mine off to pull step decks or they'd get ripped off. And I know darn well the tires aren't too big for his truck, ain't no way he's telling you the truth on that

    then you should tell him to pull into the nearest weigh station and go show dot. if he reported the problems on qualcomm he will not get in trouble. that is what i would do if i were in that situation. pull into a scale house. dot will shut that truck down.

    Very good suggestion! I would consider this as well. If his truck is so bad, I really do not want those trucks on the road with my family and I out there.

    Tires to big for the truck??? Really???? Must be those 62in.chrome spinners, did they turn that truck into a " Hopper " also????

    I'm sorry, but what you're saying just still doesn't add up or make any sense.

    Tell him to cal safety then. Or speak to the head of FM's. I highly doubt any of this is true and to what most of what you're saying....boohoo. It's truck driving. Find a new career. It's not for all, no shame. There's no sense in complaining.

    This does not at all sound like the Roehl I worked with for 15 months. My miles were not great (1850 week avg), but that was in a regional fleet with about 50% live load and/or live unload. The few times when they scheduled me too tightly, I let my FM know and changes were made accordingly. It is against their policy to even stop on the side of the road, much less stay parked there. As far as running out of hours, that is the driver's responsibility to leave enough cushion in that 11 or 14 hour clock to find a safe place to park for the 10 hour reset. Also, never had any real problem with maintenance issues; even had a mud-flap replaced with Roehl's permission at a Love's because it was hanging by only one bolt. So, there has to be more to this story in my opinion. Nevertheless, wish you and your hubby the best and thank him for his service to our country!

    Things are just not adding up.
    I believe there is more to this "fairy Tale" than being told.
    I have no dog in this hunt. Just reading her posts and I think we have somebody who is just flat lazy/ not smart enough to manage time.
    But wants to blame the world for their problems. It's the "I'm never wrong society."
    Grow up, admit you make mistakes. I have made mistakes and have owned up to them.
    I think McDonald's might even be to hard for them to do....
