Well at the start of this thread it was about being carefull that companies read these. Well they do. We tracked a user name on a post of a company that was claiming a driver was just a failure that the problems he had was him being a #### driver and that the company was so great, how they drove for them for years and had lots of friend who drove for them. With a little work we tracked down the user name to an email and ip address just to find out it was a recruiters email in the office. We emailed her directly as though we wanted to apply got a call from her and when she called we called her out on lying on the forum site we found her on and her so called claims. she hung up on us and deleted the account she had. Companies do setup up false accounts read post make post they fire drivers for saying negitive and post on threads claiming they drive and its so great. As for other comments in this thread in general here is where trucking is going. soon everyone will have elog like it or not ( i hate them ) i love to run paper and yes my book was always cooking. never had a wreck though and i used my head. if i was to sleepy to drive i took a nap. makes me miss the split sleep days. soon we will also all have video cameras in our trucks recording us ( only driver seat says the goverment) trucking schools have turned out hardly in drivers and mostly wheel holders. I have helped some learn the ropes of trucking but many dont care and only worry about getting a parking spot and wasting money on something in the truck stops. soon cbs will be out lawed already meet 2 guys who got tickets for using the cb while driving as it was not hands free device. so in a nut shell if truckers and wheel holders alike dont stand up for something we will all be a bunch of goverment robots and they will get it there by claiming everything they add and take from us is safety.

Well if you want to report a bad company do not use your normal account setup one just for that reason. as for the rest like elogs black boxs tickets for using a cb. not much we can do other than fight the tickets should you win it help others by posting the case number and info. for court refrence in the next case. the rest with out an orginization to stand with us/for us we are screwed. we could always stike as a whole but truckers are to apart for that. Been there done that cost me 1500 dollars in the end faced 25,000 in fines and 5 years in jail. me and 20 other truckers decided at a highway shut down to stay shut down after the reopen in protest of fuel prices and rates.

I refreshed my credentials going to a CDL school last year. They told me out front, they're a bunch of old truckers, they weren't there to teach me to drive, they were there to teach me how to get a CDL. Truth. Learning how to drive is what come next. It worked for me, and I even think it's a good system. I spent a month and $2,300, now I can support my family. I try hard to be a good, safe, and responsible driver. Courteous. I'll even drop a few MPH so another trucker can complete a slow pass and not impede traffic, because the frustration of drivers waiting to pass is unsafe. One thing for sure, being a good driver is a lot more complicated than just steering down a white line.

Glad to hear they read these messages, maybe(very doubtful) someone their will eventually wake up. Seen more drivers leaving the company then are staying, WONDER WHY????
Attention: ALL STUDENTS HEADED FOR USA!!! Do yourself a HUGE favor, DON'T!!!! In my 1st 7 months with USA, I racked up over 32(unpaid) days sitting
in terminals for repairs & waiting on loads. That's 1 month out of 7 that I was not earning money. Only after threatening to park the truck, did they offer me a different(newer) 1. The newer truck had more issues then the truck I refused to drive anymore. Took me over 4 days to get out of terminal with this truck.
Besides the repair problems, you will be waiting all the time for load assignments. 1 week I actually made less than $150 with only 1 436mi run for the entire week.
Was made to sit in a truck stop for 4 days waiting for a load(without pay) I was told "we don't have any loads right now"
Brought a DOT violation to their attention twice, just to be ignored, Had to drive for 2months with BALD drive tires. (I know I should have parked truck until fixed but, needed to make money)
All the long mileage runs are 1st given to the O/O or lease drivers, then it goes to the drivers who are trainers and anything else left over will then be given
to the regular co. drivers. These runs are usually under 500 miles.
USA is concerned with only 1 thing, That's USA not the driver!!! There are alot of little hidden surprizes that you will not be made aware of until it's too late for you to do anything about them.
If your thinking about signing up with USA, either through the school your attending or on your own, MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!
There are more drivers quiting here then there are staying. Ask yourself WHY ????

The truth is the truth. Don't try to shut people down when they what's really happening out there. I'm GLAD USA Truck IS reading it. Maybe they'll learn something about their culture or how their people feel about them.

What, is USA Truck the Walmart of the trucking world? THis is the USA and no company is above the law. Many think they are, BUT they are not. Eventually, the shady companies are found out. The word gets out. It always does. So, I believe this forum isn't about just saying nice things...it's about the truth. Does anyone know what that means anymore? Most of these trucking companies, especially the mom/ pop ones r just out to make money and don't give a crap about their drivers. They don't care that drivers are real people, with real families, with real children. It's very sad that the trucking business is such a rough industry, often lacking integrity, compassion, and truth. So, we must stand up for each other and speak the truth. When enough our voices are heard, and we share real information based on our actual experiences, then the abusive companies will change. And believe me, they will only change when something negatively affects their revenue, which is all they care about anyways. So, speak up and be heard, brothers and sisters. Let the truth be known. We live in the land of the free and the brave, so speak up and put an end to abusive, harassing companies that rely on intimidation and bullying as strategic weapons to increase their profit margins. A bad trucking business is bad for the trucking industry. It's in no one's best interests to keep silent out of fear. We can't sweep it under the rug and pretend it's not happening. Silence and denial are not the answers. It's the people who make the company, not the other way around.
