So it makes you sick that I think it's stupid from him to work for multiple mega carriers under the guise of writing a book?

Cessnapilot--I hope you get someone to help you write your book because your literary skills are lacking----seriously lacking.I would venture to say that your is life is lacking and you are seeking interaction with others in the only way you are able. Move on from whatever you are stuck on and quit irritating people.

After reading Trashys' comment, I went back and reread cessna pilots post. Cessna pilot writes poorly and he isn't very clear in what he is saying. And the punctuation is bad, too.
So, is he saying that some truck drivers aren't smart . Some are not good money managers. Some drivers are not well informed ahout the news or what's going in the industry. And the industry is changing . And the government is tightening up on medical fitness. I am not sure of the point he is trying to make. I might get a better idea if he would write complete sentences and punctuate. And I don't know why Trashy's irritated.
If someone is going to write a book, learning to write properly would be a good first step . I look forward to cessna pilots next post about the obvious.

Hey Im not the one who has had 17 jobs, all the while supposedly possessing skills in other trades that are "hot" in this economy!! Now who is the "dipwad"??

What experience does he possess?? How to successfully keep landing dead end jobs as a job hopper??

I didnt get "screwed" over. Maybe if you had laid off "the sauce" you could of had a more rewarding career!! Just a sampling of what YOU posted in another thread
You are not "an old school" driver, you are a washed out wanna be as you yourself said
You wont a trucker. You were a "sauced up" wanna be outlaw who ruined your chance of sustaining a successful career all the while yours and many others "outlaws" actions created trucking regs we have today!! Gee thanks Bozo......

I'm embarrassed to be associated with someone like you who use to drive............and I dare not say "professionally" You don't deserve that............

PS: Please don't refer to people as Fools, unless your staring in the mirror..........

    Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this.

@losttrucker .....you go on ahead as King of the Road and Master of getting the last word in, I'll continue on to my Masters Degree in Social Work. Maybe I'll have the opportunity to help a family once devastated by the likes of Arrow Trucking or the infamous rookie mill, C R England. Eventually you'll come to a point where you are able to comprehend that it's all relevant. Unlike yourself, I make no pretense as to who and what I am. Your attitude and bearing speak volumes of your character, which I am sure is only surpassed by your stunning good looks. It'll take a little more than a sweetheart like you to rock my boat. I tip my hat to you... safe journeys !

The trucking industry is the way it is. Is someone under the impresson they're gonna change it? The changes I see are for the worse. And the government has had a lot to do with it. I stayed with the same big fleet for 18 years. Paid cash for 2 new trucks . Financially comfortable. But what do I know? If you don't like companies, don't work for them. Get a truck and go form your own company. Plenty of others have done it.
