hey, we all get pissed at times, especially where the shop is concerned. LOL
the normal upgrade(I BELIEVE) is when the truck you are in hits 4 years old or somewhere over 400K
hey you might get lucky though. the guy i roomed with at ASU Newport his assigned tractor was trashed by the former driver so he got an 06 with around 100K on it. luck of the draw sometimes.
BTW if you are done training waiting on a tractor you can officially (i think LOL) change from "wannabe" to "0-1 year WOOT!

my first truck at usa was an 02 or 03 freightshaker mid-roof..it only had like 120,000 miles on it but it was junk from the word go!!!!! i was on my way to detroit to drop a load in january and the shifter actually fell and hit the floor...i think they said the bolt had backed out of it or something. its been so long i can remember but it was pure junk.......my first load was down in new york city straight out off the yard in van buren,ar......talking about bad luck....i asked my f/m what the deal was and he told me it was forced dispatch and i had to take it.........talking about nervous and scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was shakin bad....my trainer was dedicated out of indiana to north carolina hauling transmissions for toyota......i went but i didnt like it...lol just one of those things i guess...their add said they didnt go into the city but i did...

your FM may have lied to you. i THINK NYC is the only place we go that isn't forced dispatch
