So... they're a bad company because they didn't hire you but did hire a person who was labeled a "sex offender" by our legal system?

What's that even supposed to mean. I was hoping to actually get to the real reason they hired him over you, not call names like a bunch of second graders (who may or may not have better grammar).

Star Red no offense

so you have better grammer than me,not trying to offend anyone but being on the road theres not much good grammer or respect towards each other anymore,i do however wish you alot of success in your future as a driver, why a company would do that to anyone is your guess as good as mine.

What did your work history look like? How much experience do you have driving OTR with a company that will actually confirm it?

It's not hard to get labeled as a "sex offender". I know of an 18 year old who had sex with a 17 year old. It was consentual, the girl didn't want to press charges, but her parents hated the guy she had sex with. He has to live with the sex offender label for the rest of his life because of her parents not liking him. I don't pretend to be a lawyer, nor the most informed person in the world, but the failure of the "justice" system is something I've seen first-hand more than once.

Public urination will land you on the sex offender registry in some areas.

I thought that in case of the guy you know, there had to be so many years difference, so they didn't wind up locking up the guy that turned 18 yesterday and slept with the girl who turns 18 tomorrow.

I'm not 100% sure they were one year apart, I remember it wasn't something huge. Maybe it was 16 and 15, since apparently the age of consent in MI is 16. All I remember is he did nothing morally wrong, but the law doesn't allow for any common sense.
