this is the worst company i've ever been affiliated with.i worked for them three long monthes.the first month i made good money, but they teamed me up with a lady who was half crazy, couldn't see at night, and got lost evertime i fell asleep.the next two monthes a ran like crazy and each and every week my pay was wrong.my driving test consisted in driving around the block, there were drivers who couldn't even do that who passed the driving test.they will hire anybody with a cdl.trust me steer clear of this company they will stick you!

A lot of truth in that. But this doesnt even scratch the surface!!! This is a company who hired a 3 time DWI convict in a truck....and made him my trainer. And that was the BEST part of my time here so far. The company is a joke. Payroll problems every tuessday and thursday. We spend more time in the shop and on the phone fixing payroll than we do driving.

True. I made the fatal mistake of taking their training....aka 8 month contract. I have been suspended twice by weekend dispatch, once for refusing a hazmat load. I was not hazmat endorsed. Second time for refusing a load while I was on home time. My truck in the last 15 days has been broke down 4 times. You are correct sir, you could go on forever. Gotta love the recent message about drinking we got huh? And they still hire a guy that no one else will!!

CRST driving test

Yes, their driving test during orientation was a total joke. I was sent out for my test with 2 other people, 2 guys. One was a new driver, and he literally ran a stop sign and still passed. The other was a former Swift driver. He had driven for Swift for 6 months, yet when he got behind the wheel his driving was so scary I hid my eyes. The trainer yelled at him the whole time. Of the 3 of us I was the only one who was even able to shift a gear during the literal one-block trip we had to make yet all of us passed. Not only that, but the Swift guy with 6 months of experience was made a trainer and left out the next day with one of the orientees, as his trainer!!!!

oh after 3 mos. i quit, wasn't making enough money to take care of family, you are very lucky, most aren't as lucky as you.i don't mean to bash your company i'm just talking from personal experience.i could write all day about horror stories, like my co-driver and i getting $50.00 each for 4700 miles, called payroll got talked to like i was a crack head, problem never was fixed, but i did find out that there was pay from the month before i never got paid for,or sitting three days waiting for trk.registration, current was expired told d/p for a month to get us through cedar rapids to get current registration,on the day it expired i called to get one faxed, but they couldn''t do that so sit for free, also there terminals are nasty fontana,ca is the only one that is clean.i wish you the best with them, but i bet given time you will agree with me.

Holy Cow Pie

What is this company doing. They need to be reported to whom ever will and can do something about it.If I have one of these drivers back in to me or cause me to get into a accident,Not only will I own part of the company(And I'll train them like they should be Trained)I'll be in jail for beating the crap out of somebody!!!.I have been driving for 21yrs now and it seems like alot of these companys anymore don't give a darn if you can drive or not.Whats the difference if the US lets unsafe drivers in from Mexico in or just let a unsafe, improperly trained American drive a Big truck,NO DIFFERENCE!!!!!!They have Laws against somebody with DWI convictions being able to legally drive a commercial vehicles.I road tested a young fellow for NCI and failed him, because I thought him to be unsafe. He couldn't double clutch properly, nor could he back up.So I failed him.The company told me that I was the first one to fail someone at that terminal.OMG,I thought how many hacks have these other drivers let get by?It's not only up the company's,guys and gals,it's up to us to report, instruct, teach these warm body's (these poor excuse for company's)have subjected us and the public to be around and work with.Remember we all started at the bottom and had older drivers tell, show us how to do it the right way.Be safe and Happy holidays Professionals!

They are making too much money off of students. They need someone to shut down their school and maybe they would start acting right. You cant expect people with a family to support to start out making .22 a mile and CRST taking half of that for the nasty school condidtions they went through. I mean -- who can support a family on .11 a mile. They just make it harder on those students co drivers cuz no one wants to pull 11 hours # .11 a mile.

Sexual Harassment

I have heard frtom some of their drivers that there are about 17 lawsuits against CRST right now for sexual harassment and the last one was for "rape"....they need to be stopped before someone takes matters into their own hands....these charges were against CRST lead drivers.....How in the world can someone learn when they are being constantly badgered by these creeps...
