Kevin Knight is a bag of #####, a liar and a thief. I hope after that pos company of his fails, and it will, that he burns in Hell where he belongs. I beat them in court two weeks ago, and me and the USDOT aren't done with his lying, cheating ### yet. What a piece of garbage.

There was also a issue with logs he claimed where falsified by the company. Seems the driver wanted to use the 2 hr weather allowance when it did not meet the criteria for such use and he had to make the logs legal by trimming line 4 and adding line 5. Probably got popped for unauthorized line 5 usage since you have to be BT for that. Of course this is all speculation but he did say in a earlier post that he trained students at Knight and now says he never got a student to train. Call me crazy but I have company in this rubber room.Last edited: Jan 9, 2012

I've had knight change my elogs before. I had dropped off an mt trl after round trip load to Colorado from grand prairie tx.
I was at the 14hr limit bobtailing back to Hutchins yard & not under dispatch either on line 5 and the safety guy in Katy terminal changed it back to line 3 several days later. -
Don't know how far it is from Grand Prairie TX to Hutchinson TX but I was told by a Seattle driver that they can only use line 5 for two 30 min periods per day. And that some terminals don't want the company drivers using line 5 at all. But 5 and 3 are both recorded as driving time and thats a little different then changing on duty to off to gain hours. Also if they are paying you for the DH back to the terminal from the drop that would still be on duty driving even in a Bobtail if a viapoint was not entered to start you in Hutchinson on the next load. My DOT book lists line 5 as for personal use which would have to be uncompensated to be legal- I thought it was for truck owners but I guess it is only CA that is making a fuss over company drivers using a company truck for personal use for now. They don't like the 34hr reset either.
