Craziness!!!

I was supposed to go to CRST training program and everything was set then I was told to call back the next day to confirm everything. I made the call the next day and got no answer that was 2 weeks ago I finally emailed the recruiting department regarding this situation. And the recruiter I originally talked to emailed me back saying that my application was denied because of my Criminal Background. The funny thing about this is I don't have a criminal background lol. I've never got in trouble with the police I mean I got paddled once in 2nd grade but thats about it. So if anyone wants to reply feel free but if not thats fine just had to get that off my chest. Have a good one.

I'd advise you to find out what's up with them saying you have a criminal record. If that's really there and it's in error, you will want to have that fixed. It's a big deal to have a criminal background if, indeed, you don't.

I would suggest that your uncle get something in writing. Then contact CRST and forward to them. It is very possible that they have made an error in either a number or spelling of a name and failed to double check.

CRST is a large carrier and they would probably forward something to your DAC.

You need to get that misunderstanding cleared up quick!!
If they got it wrong and other carriers get their info from mostly the same
sources, you might be the victim of ID theft...
DO NOT WAIT..CLEAR IT UP !!!

Just want to welcome you to the forum and to the trucking world as we know it. Crazy, mixed up, and constantly in error. My wife had a very bad experience with CRST training, I consider it in her favor that she survived that idiot trainer and the 'second wave' and no one got hurt. It's possible your identity is mixed up with someone's that isn't clean and clear, and you do need to figure it out and get it straightened out as soon as you can. Have a good one as well.

I might be wrong-----but,
If they are basing their decision based on a DAC report and as it is regulated by the Fair Credit Act, at your written request they (CRST) are required to send all info to you that they used to make that conclusion.
Again i an NOT positive about this...
