i worked for a company out of wiscosnin that was doing the exact same things like bouncing paychecks, having no paychecks ready or waiting anywhere, no fuel, we had to run the truck out of our own pockets and then they would conveniently "lose" our receipts...etc, etc...so, my co-driver and i quit them after we told them that we werent suppose to be treated like that, of course they (company) got mad, said a bunch of bad stuff to us, you know. well, after a year or so, they did go out of biz also, but now my co-driver and i both have the "marks" against us on our DACs, and we don't know how to deal with getting that bad rep off the report, because we both did drive every single load we were suppose to take, we were never late, and we remained very professional at that job, even tho it was only about 1 month that we worked for them. so, i am wondering , how do drivers deal with what is on the DAC then if they have to quit a company?..did you look at your DAC report to see if they posted anything bad?...what did you do if you have bad marks?

This is a prime example of why the DAC system needs to be abandoned. You might want to contact OOIDA concerning this. The more OOIDA learns of this type of abuse. Down the road, it gives them more ammo to rid of us of the DAC system or get it regulated to stop the abuse.
