BEWARE!!!!!! before you think about going to work at this company there are some things you need to know!!! Frist is that Joe Palmenter will call you up and curse at you!! 2 . That he thinks you can't get a job anywhere else so that gives him the right to do this!!!3. The trks are Unsafe and his saftey rating sucks!!!It is unsatfactory!!! Fourth you will not get any miles!! 5th the will not read any messages you send and if you call you will get yelled at!! NO RESPECT AT ALLL!!!!!!!!!!Pay is 30 cents per mile!!!!!!If you go there good luck!!

I went to orientation,for these people in 6/2009.But when I saw all the charges that are imposed for not doin your job,and $ subtracted from your check,because they think you'll abandon the truck;I had 2nd thoughts.When they gave me a truck with duct tape on the engine,zip ties holding the bumper together,APU malfunctioning,then the truck running out of fuel.I LEFT! I knew it would only go downhill. there's more reports about this co. on ripoff report.

I agree with how it WAS but I'm currently with PBC and REALLY like the new changes. They had a bad safety rating and hired the safety director that ran Knight's terminal in Kansas City, KS. After being with the company for 3 months he called DOT and invited them back three months early to re-audit (like who does that!!) They came in and raised palmentere's rating to satisfactory! I talked to a lot of his former Knight drivers and they loved this guy. The higher ups at pbc have made a lot of changes in a good direction. He has revamped the entire safety program and actually cares about his drivers. Don't get me wrong though, if you jack up expect him to call you out. He doesn't deviate between drivers or office employees, he got rid of a dispatcher like his 3rd week there. I like working with him and like being at pbc more now with the changes they've made. PBC has raised their pay based on experience, safety, etc..
Like I said, I don't disagree with prior things here but glad I stayed and toughed it out! I would honestly invite any of my friends to work here now.JustSonny Thanks this. -

I think it's good to see someone that actually cares about drivers. We are not just a number in a truck. It's nice to be at a smeller company that doesn't just hire numbers!!
