Good luck to you whatever you decide to do! It is a shame to have a company cost the industry a veteran driver such as yourself.

You get all spiffied up and you go to your local industrial park and you go door to door until you get hired.

If they have big slick ads, chance are they ain't that great of a company anyway.

Good driving jobs don't need to advertise to find people to do them.

Bubba, which location did you work at for Nationwide Southeast? they have a terminal not far from me in Miss. I had considered them at one time, but decided against it.

the guy down there in miss ... he is a nice guy i have met him a few times .. he runs alot from miss to up here in pa ... so he gets the miles ... if you watch your checks, make sure they pay you for wait time, dont run you over hours, and watch the directions you will always run ... they never run out of frieght ... they run bulk mail ... so they always have runs .. they just dont know how to manage drivers and runs and in my case , well you read how it was for me ...

Was KLLM out of Jackson Miss a company who turned you down? or have you not tried them yet?

They where the first OTR company I worked for back in 92, but being from the NW and having slip seating at the time I had to move on. But they always kept me rolling and I hear they pay pretty good also.

all i wanted to do was walk away from them quietly and have the favor returned .. they did the DAC so i have to do what i had to do ...... i left them because of the logs and etc, they knew that is why i was leaving ... but still they did that to my DAC and now i cant get on with anyone .. i tried everyone but flatbed companies and i know they wont take me either ...

so i have one choice and that is not driving ....

it wasnt that i asked for much ... honest pay for honest work ... only days i had off were my reset days ... that was fine i didnt care about days off .. i love driving more than i love being home anyway ....

That is a real shame that you are being treated this way...and I love my job too but the crap we have to endure gets so unbearable at times....I sure hope everything will work out for you and you can go back to work....I will definitely keep you in my prayers and stand strong for what you know is right....Good luck...
