well, that's not a lot of info to use, but, had you graduated from a qualified cdl school within 90 days, or have experience driving OTR within the last year? (I think it's a year... not sure.)

And what proof do you have of age discrimination? Just because you got turned down? What sort of discrimination should be claimed when guys in their 30s and 40s get turned down?

Not every driver who applies at Roehl gets hired. I bet they all felt qualified. Maybe Roehl found out something they didn't like that overshadowed your cdl, med card, and clean driving record.

Just something to consider.

I had a few doubts as to whether the OP was on the level, or not, but I saw no reason to totally bash him. I wouldn't go beyond an initial post myself if welcomed in that manner. Fortunately, I have found the posters here to be helpful in most cases.

Many posts on this board are obviously not written by scientific rockets (myself included). A couple of regular posters here, in addition to being unable, or unwilling, to put five letters together without ----ing up make absolutely no sense.

Must have been a bad day at the office. Give the guy a break..............

live and let live

I didn't see much attacking the OP. He came with a weak gripe based on seven days with a company. Looked to me like he gained some valuable advice he can use in the future. The rest was a bunch of tail twistin' that had no malice at all in it. Where's Rodney when we need him..."Can't we all just get along".

Asked them and all the recruiter said is the committee said no, no reason given.

That's retarded that a man can't get a simple answer to a simple question.

I'm sure lawyers have something to do with that. Better luck next time Hammer.

Myminpins,
So where do you really stand? On page 1 you're pointing out the guy's spelling errors and now you're defending him by saying he's being bashed by others. You were one of the first to criticize the guy. C'mon now.

I was responding to HARLEY's post - not criticizing the OP. If you read the entire thread, it's easy to see.

jbc, ease up. Yes I corrected the guys spelling and grammar but if you took the time to look you would see that I started off by saying that I meant no offense and from what I gather, he took no offense to it. So what is your problem. It wasnt you I was correcting. Life is too short to be a donkey.
