And I see where in one post Bakers Dozen says he has worked for them for six years and the next time is it 2.5 years. Sounds pretty bad to me. As someone once said it is probably one of the owners.

 

Yeah he's full of IT! I work there or should say did. I start with a new company on Monday Feb. 28th. That place is a joke. I am seeing this Baker's Dozen all over the place defending them. It has to be a higher up in the company or something because every driver I talk to is trying to get out and is NOT happy and I mean EVERY unless they have only been there a week or two and they make sure not to bounce their's right away. Come to find out they are wanting to get into flatbedding and are buying trailers somehow and are also looking into buying some newer model tractors and are now trying to pawn off their old CRAP to unsuspecting newcomers in the form of lease purchase. They somehow have the money to do this but don't have the money to pay their drivers?!?!? I just had to call about 10 times yesterday (Thursday) just to get a hold of somebody to get my direct deposit which was supposed to be put in there on Tuesday. Makes me wonder if I hadn't been so persistent would I have even gotten it? A driver should NOT have to make phone calls to get their paycheck! They had to reimburse me $55 in bank fees associated with a deposited check that they put in there last week that bounced. Now they are not reimbursing for tolls on I-80 in IN and OH and the PA Pike because they are trying to cut costs. One would think that they could really save money not bouncing sh%$ to their drivers and having to pay all these fees. I don't know how a company can legally do this kind of crap to people and why the banks don't do something. Instead they (the banks)drop them and then they switch to a new bank. They used to be with Fifth Third and now they are with PNC because of them bouncing so many checks. Sorry for the novel but this company gets me fired up. I sincerely hope they go down hard and get what they deserve.

 

Oh yeah, also found a post on Ripoff Report by who you ask? Baker and I would assume that's Baker's Dozen once again defending them and how long does he say he's been with them on there? 3 Years!?! Wow this guy can't keep his story straight to save his #####. That's the third different length of time I have seen him post. In there he says he left at the beginning of January because his "wife" is having health issues. If that's true I don't think she's the only one. I think ole' B.D. is suffering from a bad case of Alzheimer's and needs to have that gourd of his examined! Also found where Tradewinds had a lawsuit filed on them on Dec. 29th 2010 by Star Leasing for what again you may ask? Ding, ding, ding, why not paying them, of course! Why not, they don't pay anyone else so why pay the leasing company? That would be F$%#ing silly now wouldn't it? B.D. I am making you more of a liar by the day buddy. And since you apparently aren't working now you should have all the time in the world to
be posting up a storm. Still waiting on your responses hoss!!!!!!!

I like this quote which has some truth. But on the other hand we had countless posts where the owner of a company pretends to be a driver to counter post.
I personally know two companies that hide behind the cloth. One man I worked for was a preacher. Get him by himself and you never heard a fouler mouth before with all the 4 letter dialect. A couple workers that paid child support were paid under the table so they could dodge the courts. Real christian man there. Like night and day.

I don't have a clue who this company is. But I can say a well run company doesn't file bankruptcy.

 

Very good company. I have been here 2 years and not one issue like these guys are saying. You do your job and you get paid well. I am glad to get rid of jokers like these can make this company even better.

 

yeah you gotta watch these jokers ( tradewinds )..... just before i quit i overheard the recruiting lady talking about watching these forums.

 

Who are ya Big Charlie? What do ya drive? A POS white Freightliner? Love to hear how you haven't had any checks bounce. I'll post the ##### canceled checks if ya like. I know I have at least 4 that I could, the latest being just last week and got it in the mail Friday from my bank. Big Charlie! More like Big Andy, Big Ben (and no not the football player!), or Big Matt. Enjoy your stay with this terrific company. Just started with Hall Bros. in Orleans. Tired of fighting for what is owed to me.

 

Fellas look at the facts here that may not believe me. Big Chuck just became a member today and every one of his posts are on here defending Tradewinds. ALL 5 of his posts! Also where do you live Big FAKE? He also started 1 new thread talking about how great they are and another was started by who else, Bakers Dozen who still hasn't responded back to me. Imagine that. Come on fellas, who are ya really????????????? You guys are pathetic seriously that your company sucks so badly that you have to sign in under BS names with no hometown (not that you wouldn't make up a fake one) just to try to turn your horrible image around. Try running a decent company instead of wasting your time on here.

 

So how much does this company pay per mile for company drivers/owner operators?...Just curious since nothings listed on thier site. Do they pay for experience or what. Ive always seen thier trucks around and they seemed to have decent equipment from what i can remember. The christian based thing is a laugh tho being i was with Covenant 1 year when i started, and when i see something like that i immediatly know its a crock.
