Any info or opinions on "Super Service" out of Ky?

 

owned by Ganiey out of grand rapids,mi. they are in chpt 11. there is a file in the company dac that i would read on ganiey. I would stay away from them, but its a choice you have to make.

I HATED super service. i was there 10 months and that was 9 months to long! pay was always messed up and whenever i was out of hours and had to shut down they got pissed because i would turn the load down. they even tried to tell me what hours i had left. IM THE ONE WITH THE LOG BOOK!! i never had an accident or ticket and always had a good working truck because I took care of it...but the mechanics ignored the drivers and got mad when we would ask for something. (yeah im talking to you ellenwood crew. its cuz of the drivers you have jobs ######) i hope that company shuts down. OH! and the dispatchers were all A-holes.

 

PLEASE put in paragraphs in the next post you do! Geeze Louise it was really hard reading it all in one long paragraph!

#10 is incorrect. YOU have a bill showing an incoming call from the company even if it's "blocked" and THEY have a bill showing every call made including YOUR cell number! And it's NOT on paper but in the server! Oh, the cell phone and the land line companies know where every call goes to!

Never assume that "they" can't track you these days! You use company credit cards, you use debit cards and credit cards, checks, scale tickets, quailcomm, prepass ezpass your cell their cell, phones and lojack just to name a few and the good ole days of hiding in plain sight is over! If it was machine generated it's being tracked and been tracked! You screw the pooch the first thing they chase is that comic book!

There is NO hiding! CYA still stands! Get a copy of drivers daily log and never have to worry about your log book again! Best money I ever spent in 30+ years! Sorry about the promotion but I STILL can't figure this 11/14 log crap out so I bought it the first month they charged for it! Never got a OOS due to the book! Actually, it's paid me back on those L-3's when the company still paid for a passing grade at the scales! How times have changed! LOLOL

 

I have been out of work since Nov of 2008, and so desperate to go back to work that I called Super Service this morning. "Kristy" said she will call me back around 2:30 pm.
Now, after reading these posts, I don't know if I can afford to take the job. I am in dire straits right now, and don't have any extra money in the bank to carry me for two weeks before I get a paycheck. I may not be able to pay my rent in full for December. If NJ Unemployment deals me a death blow, meaning if they don't reinstate my claim, it won't be long before me and the 6 kitties will be homeless. I am now in NC, was forced to move out of NJ because I couldn't pay my bills or rent there, either. ####, this sux to hear this about SS!

 

okay were do we start? I was terminated after being there and running loads that not even the guys would run at times. I went above and beyond to do my job. In, October 2008 a new terminal manager was put in at the Ellenwood terminal and my trouble began. He harrassed me, called me ugly names and swore that the last thing he would do was cost me my job. Why? because I was a white female driver. No offense meant to anyone. I left and they begged until I went back in July, 2009 I was terminated for speaking my peace about some things they were doing to the drivers. I was not violate or abusive in any way. Well this person decides he will use something against another employee to get me a warning is what the employee was told. Since then I lost my job, I have been blocked from further jobs by Super Service and negativism. I lost my home, my automobile, I live in a old house with no electricity and babysit for food, for a shower and washing clothes and access to the internet to hunt a job. This person continues to others that he got what he wanted if his job is cut. He got me fired because of his racist, male against female driving attitude and he disliked me most because I wouldn't let him talk to me like I was inhuman and took up for myself. In other words, Super Service is the pitts and this is no joke. They promise you great things and you get great things alright. Great disappointments, no pay, sitting a lot and lies more than anyone should ever have to put up with. These people ruined my life and I have a clean driving record and because of them bad mouthing me. I can't get a job.

 

Please don't do stay Away from them. They are as bad if not worse than Palmentere bros. Super Service will ruin you and it is a trap of lies and deceit. Don't fall into anything they say. If they will take a long term driver like myself and terminate because of a hatred by someone who is known to be against females and is very racist against the other race than himself and ruin peoples life to stop from being sued by him. There have been a lot of drivers in my shoes because of the same man. I never had a warning, write up or anything else against me in the system. I was listed in the top 10 drivers all around in the company at the time. Go Figure. Hatred is a bad thing

 

Unless your MVR is screwed up, you can get a driving job. If you have enough experience. Check the smaller companies.
