Hey later_dude, I know a "hygienically challenged" old "supertrucker" matching your description perfectly that lived here in Eugene years ago. This guy would lie if the truth made a better story. It would be just too funny it was the same guy...lol

You no Lier

I'm pretty sure we were in the same orientation class. It's like the trucking filth of werner, even there facility was up to the filth standard. It let me know that i was in the wrong place. My friend and i kept asking each other if we were the acception to the rule of trucking bathing procedures.
WTF hasn't anybody introduced these people to MR and MRS soap and water???????????. And when i went to swift the guy looks at me when the shuttle came and asked if i was going to the airport???!!! and i respond no i'm going to swift he says no s### well come on in at least i can roll up the windows with you on board hell i thought you was a government man. It just snowed that day and was a brisky 29degrees and he rolling around with the windows open thinking he's picking up a trucker ha ha .............. late.

It is very creative writing, but with 400,000 mil you should have been on the 70hr training, and would not have been eligible for the $500 bonus!

very funny stuff

you should have no problem going to another company, but you should at least do 90 days so's you'd not have to do 6 8 weeks again.

A WEEK??!!
Good gawd!
EVERY well seasoned Big truck truck driver should know that -- on average -- clothes can go two-weeks easy. Eighteen days if you air the sweat out of 'em by hangin' 'em on the mirror brackets.
Or, on a warm hood -- that kinda presses 'em, and it's always a good idea to look your best.

Okay!
The addy is:
Shakey AfterShock
In California.

They'll know where to deliver it. Many such loads on have been delivered right to my front-door step.
I even help lump some of the lighter loads.

HeY!
If I lumped them ALL, ..... I'd be puttin' a lumper out of business.

I am not entirely sure where you took your orientation or who your recruiter was. Or when you were hired. The highest Werner pays to their long term drivers is like 48 cents. I started out at 32 cents, for 48 State Van with 0 experience fresh out of driver school. I cannot see why an experienced person would be paid less? The Regional Van pays less as it depends on your load. Sorry you had such a bad experience.

As sad and funny as it was I know first hand what u talkin about my trainers truck smelled like piss when I first got in it(missed the bottle a LOT)what I thought was tea was actually fermented piss thats been sittin for god knows how many days past a week In a gallon tea jug i swear thats the worst smell like a ####,piss, road kill smell I can only assume and he would pour it out while rollin down the road while I wsa drivin!!!.I used so much febreze an Lysol I should have gotten stock in the company(i used a bottle and a half the frist time). I even went as far as sleeping in top bunk for weeks until i figured out the whole air/smell/sleeping ratio u talk about. he asked why I alwayz wiped and sprayed the seat/steering wheel when I drove. I just told him it was something I did for me. because of that reason I never use a bottle unless an emergency and next bathroom it goes in the toilet. NOT THE TRASH!
