There is Relationship and then there is Religion. Opposing sides of the coin, and not too hard to see which side these guys are on. Appreciate the heads up.

I intended to just read everyone’s thoughts on good and bad companies and was not planning on even joining this forum until I read THIS, and was infuriated with the company that treated you like this.
That they would even have the nerve to oppress the poor working man, and do so in the Name of God!:biggrin_25516:

Trust me that people like this have no favor with God and are hypocrites,
(James 5:4) “Behold, the wages of the workmen who have reaped your fields cry out, being kept back by you. And the cries of the ones who have reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Hosts."

I don’t mind them handing out the “New Testament” to you (though I would rather them give the FULL Bible), but insinuating that if you don’t believe as they, that you would go no where with them????
...sounds like the policy of a crook, and not God.
God would pay a man what he is worth, whether He likes him or not. Hell, He even gives what is unfathomably great to those who are extremely unworthy of such.

I hate it when people, even companies promote God, but in hypocrisy bring reproach to His Holy, and Just Name.

gotta love the Transflow Scanning and Trip Pak scanning. I get to keep all orignial paperwork, and can fax them to whomever if there is ever a problem.
Scan each trip indirectly to the comapny, it's on the pay check that Friday. Best hing, it's free to the driver.
Will not work for somebody who doesn't use it.

    Good post, Jeff!
skibum: they have a 12v scanner now? Or are you managing to find an OfficeMax or something every load? We didn't have all these fancy electronics back when I drove before.

Better yet work for someone that uses a scanning service. Then you get to retain the originals till you get paid.

"whenever someone starts telling me how religious they are, I check to see if I still have my wallet."

can't remember where I read that, but it's a neat little saying. someone using their religion to convince you that they're good/ethical/honorable or whatever should set off a screaming alarm and flashing lights in your BS detector.

I also had a go around with rbt and I also worked ar Risinger Transport before the buy out and agree they were a great co. to drive for, but rbt staved me to death. What can you expect when the head term manager got his start in trucking at JB Hunt?

The company I drive for uses TransFlo and that allows us to have the paperwork scanned in a truck stop or, with our own laptop and scanner in our cabs we can do it with the downloaded TransFlo software wherever we're at with internet access.

Using TransFlo allows us to keep the original paperwork. There has been a few times my company's trip processing department had trouble reading the paperwork and asked me to mail in the originals but I insist on making copies to cover my rear so that I always have what I need to be paid.

I would have too. I simply choose to read the Bible at my own will and will not ever have anyone try to ram it down my throat like that.

trucker43 and Farrell 67 Thank this.
