I started with Risinger and during the oreintation on day 1 of 5, Stan Risinger handed out the New Testament Bible to all new drivers. There were 11 of us. Now I know what you religious people are going to say, but Stan made us all feel that if we did not accept his Bible that we were not welcome in his company.
With that said, it gets better. After driving for Risinger a month, I no longer got home on the weekends as promissed, (thats the only reason I went to Risinger), Some dispatchers are extreamily dissrespectfull, the fuel girl acctually told me that I didn't know how to do my job upon calling her for a fuel stop that she sent no solution for over the Qualcomm. (That's when I put my 2 weeks notice in)
Now, after doing a great job (quote from my dispatcher, whom also repeatedly asked me to stay on at Risinger), worked my full 2 weeks,
then to get me home, they arranged for a rental car from budget. This car I could have rented myself from peroira airport to dayton ohio for 103.78,
Risingers price through budget 336.00. that comes right out of my last pay check. And now that Im on the topic of my last paycheck, there is 232.10 that they will not send because they claim a trip pack was not sent in. Now, how do you prove that you sent in a trip pack? I know one thing, remember how religious Stan Risinger claims he is? Thou shall not steal is one of the big ten as I remember them, This is all true, and I have all paperwork to back this up.
Please Dont Work for this company on a scale of 1 to 10..... this company rates a 1 and thats being generous.
Risinger, Religious and a rip off!

Well, after 2 weeks since leaving this company, I figure that I would give you all an update as to the above mentioned complaint.
After several phone calls to Risinger (more than 5), I still (and won't) receive my final pay that i mentioned above. The "safety girl" asked that i look somewhere for a trip pack that i mailed in. Allthough, she stated that she had no idea as to where to start looking. She also changed the date on the trip after confronting her about the date mentioned.
So again, I you have talked with Risinger, and are thinking about working there, I would rethink, there are not a good company to work for.
I have found a better company to work for, home every night, and great pay. I shall not list them here at this time (To keep my identity annonomous) I hope this has helped you in making a decision and if so, I would like to see your posts. -
I used to work for Risinger Transport before Risinger Brothers sucked them up and eliminated the 250mi radius, guaranteed home daily, day driving positions. RTC wasn't too bad to work for, but I've heard some real horror stories from some of the guys that stayed on after the buyout... RTC was pretty #### decent to their drivers, helped me out allot and I truly didn't mind working for them (can't say I enjoyed it, I drive to pay the bills, not cause it's fun...). Not surprising at all to hear about the problems with RBT. What is it on the left trailer door, "John 3:16"?? Should have expected to have a bible shoved in your face the first day.

Now, how do you prove that you sent in a trip pack? I
Well, what I do is keep a record of every trip pack. In the record I keep the city, state, trk stop and time of day the trip pak is posted. This way if Tri-State says they did not receive the trip pak I can give them the exact location and time the pak was posted. -
With some companies you will have a regular issue with payroll. You can protect yourself thru getting photo copies of the signed bills and retaining them for your own records. In the event payroll claims; "we didn't get the signed bill of lading so we cannot pay you." You can respond; well thats ok I can fax a copy to you right now. What is your fax number please???
Through keeping copies of signed bills you can protect yourself from the "it got lost in the mail (or trip pak)" excuse.trucker43 and cherokee96red Thank this. -
Yeah, that is something else I do. I have a copier, printer, scanner in the truck. I always keep a copy of all BOL's with my copy of the Pro. Everyone should do this. You never know when your going to get that big run and then have payroll say 'oh, we didn't get the paper work'. I can reply 'That's ok I have a copy of everything. Plus I can tell where when and what time the trip pak was posted.' loltrucker43 Thanks this. -
Overall, are the "tours" that they have posted on thier website true and can you take that to the bank for about 80% of the time? Do they offer automatics? (I'm an amputee not a newbie). Thanks

OK isnt this the company from montana that has in big words on there trailer, "jesus christ is not swear word, he is lord" or something like that?
If it is I was coming from los angeles last week and this truck with that trailer kept passing me for a day and a half, i was doing 60 and he had to be doing 70 atleast everytime, the last time he passed me was near Corning and 10 miles up I5 there he was pulled over by smokey, never saw him again after that..... -

I had that trip pac issue with Werner a few times, I wound up putting a scanner/printer in my truck and scanning each and every bill and sent the copy cause they always said I'd have to get a copy of the bills from the consignee. You ever tried to get a consignee to give you a copy of something? Yeah.
As for the bible thing, I'd have quit then and there.Farrell 67 Thanks this.
