So true, so true.

What does "experienced guy" mean today, exactly? We talk about Swifty using mentors (some of which may have as little as 6 months' experience), but are the experienced boys much better?

Can you imagine a SwiftQuit driver piddling along in a cabover Mack with its doghouse and ironing board sleeper? I don't see it, lest that guy is from Mexico, Nicaragua, or Cuba. Yeap, Cuba is coming 'round sooner or later.

Yeah I drive a Swift truck
And that means one thing
It means she's slow
It's a typical company truck
It's just all show and no go

I'm gettin' passed by Yella
And even Overnite
I'm gettin' passed by ever' body in sight
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

No, my hometown's nowhere in sight
And if you think I'm pissed off
You're right
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

Love pissing off those trucking company insiders.

I have to be honest with you...I've never seen one face to face and talked to him that I didn't leave afterwards thinking.."BRAINWASHED as bad as a cult member".They just ALL kind of seem to be either goofy or mouthy with no in between types. One Swifty brainiac in OKC got out at a fuel island next to me and started trying to have a convo over all the noise and I just smiled and nodded(couldn't hardly hear him) until I heard something about "bad business investment" and "flashy truck"...I said "Dickstein,do you own that truck you're driving?" and when he said no, I said " I paid CASH for this one,so who's the dumbazz businessman,me or you?" and turned my back on him to show him that I wasn't scared of him and that our conversation was concluded.I do know that I've never met one that I would've turned loose in a truck that I owned.Just my opinion and its worth what I'm charging for it.lol
