Why are you only getting 2-3 days off? How many days out are you running...?

When I started out with them it was no problem for me to get home for 6-7-8 days...... but I stayed out 4 solid weeks at a time.
I have had 3 different dispatchers and have not had a problem with this issue at all.

so there's no more solo at crst hu . .... lol
oh well i guess that counts me out hehe

I finished!

Well I told you guys as soon as I had the chance I would let you guys know what happened at truck school and Orientation for CRST. well, the hotel was not to bad... no complaints on that from me. The school I thought was really good and all the instructors were not jerks. they all seemed like they wanted to help us learn. I aced my permit test then the following week i got the hang of driving. the instructor swore up and down i had driven a truck before. I passed the skills test with only 2 missed out of 10 and then passed the road test. then last monday i started orientation for CRST and all i heard was bad things about it. and thier pay really sucks too but hey gotta pay your dues!!.. I went to the DMV and got the paper Class A. I now have to go to TSA for fingerprinteing to finish my HazMat process. Overall it was a good experiance ("the people i met and school"). BUT!!!! a few things really go me mad... before you leave, the recruiter says to bring $150 extra for food and that Mon-Fri dinner and breakfast is provided. I only ate the dinner twice cuz it looked like prison food and the stale bagels for breakfast wasnt cutting it either. that $150 went fast and i ended up using over $550. then once you complete the school and go to orientation you dont get those advanced meals anymore and they try sending everyone to a crack head lot lizard motel at the TA in Fontana, Ca. alot of people had been waitng for almost a month for thier trainer too. so its some good and alot bad. the best part was only the school. if i get the opportunity to work somewhere else that "I" consider better, i will in a heart beat.. not tp mention having to switch rooms all the time... too much for me to list on here.. but hey... i made it.
